CUSTOMER SERVICE - FRAUD
JOB OVERVIEW
Salary/Wage: 16.50 - 16.50 USD /year

JOB DESCRIPTION
Identify and prevent fraudulent credit card activity on card not present transactions for an internet superstore.
- Work specialized queues daily manually reviewing customer orders by making appropriate decisions using department guidelines.
- Make outbound calls to banks, financial institutions, card issuers and credit card companies to validate customer billing information.
- Once information is verified you will also be making outbound calls to customers to verify their order.
- Provide exceptional customer service when handling incoming calls from customers with potential online fraud.
- Shutting down fraudulent accounts and blacklisting addresses.
- Customer's may also be contacted via email so you are responsible for working a minimum of an hour daily answering customer emails regarding the processing of their order.
***Shifts and days will vary; with the possibility of remote access a couple of days.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years experience with manually reviewing online credit card transactions.
- Strong analytical, statistical and problem identifying and solving capability.
- Strong decision making skills with the capability to look outside the box.
- Conform to the highest standards of conduct and ethics, including sound honesty and integrity.
- A high degree of flexibility, creativity, innovation and critical thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Basic PC and typing skills with the ability to navigate on the internet.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Word.
- Individual must be a self-starter with a high level of dependability and responsibility.
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to be flexible as overtime is offered as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Work specialized high dollar queue daily, manually reviewing customer orders by making appropriate decisions using department guidelines.
- Make outbound calls to banks, financial institutions, card issuers and credit card companies to validate customer billing information.
- Once information is verified you will also be making outbound calls to customers to verify their order.
- Provide exceptional customer service when handling incoming calls from customers with potential online fraud.
- Shutting down fraudulent accounts and blacklisting addresses.

- You will be the Fraud Supervisor's backup.
- Be able to answer questions from Fraud Team.
- Take escalated customer phone calls.
