Scott Blum – Founder and Chairman
Scott Blum, entrepreneur and technology leader, has founded several successful technology companies in his career. He is currently Chairman of Buy.com. His production company, Scott Blum Productions, creates and packages the popular high-definition programs BuyTV and YogaToday. He is also Managing Partner of ThinkTank Holdings LLC, a holding company founded in 1999 located in Jackson, Wyoming. ThinkTank's portfolio companies include Buy.com, Yub.com, Sell.com, TechSpace, Thinkbig Media, and YogaToday. Revelocity was sold to NeoForma (NASDAQ: NEOF) in December 2002, ChannelWave was sold to ClickCommerce (NASDAQ: CKCM) in January 2005, and Commerce5 was acquired by Digital River (NASDAQ: DRIV) in December 2005. By age 21, Scott sold his first company, MicroBanks, a company that manufactured technology enhancement products for IBM PS/2 and Macintosh personal computers. This provided him with the capital to start Pinnacle Micro (NASDAQ: PNCL), a leader and pioneer in the optical and recordable CD industries. Scott's third company, Buy.com , set the record for fastest growing company in U.S. history.
Neel Grover – CEO and President
Neel Grover was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Buy.com in May 2006. He has served Buy.com as its President since September 2003 and as a member of the Board of Directors since November 2001. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer from October 2004 to May 2006. From March to September 2003, he served as President of BuyNetwork Inc., the former parent company of Buy.com. Prior to this, Neel was with ThinkTank Holdings, a private equity management company, most recently as a General Partner. Prior to joining ThinkTank Holdings, he was a Senior Associate in the Business & Technology Departments of the law firms Brobeck, Phleger, & Harrison and Jones, Day, Reavis, & Pogue. Neel received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law, Order Of The Coif, and his B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Irvine where he was Captain of the Men's Tennis Team.
Greg Giraudi - COO and General Counsel
Greg Giraudi has been our Chief Operating Officer since November 2006 and General Counsel since October 2003. Before joining Buy.com, Mr. Giraudi was an attorney in the Business & Technology Departments of the law firms of Dorsey & Whitney LLP and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP. Prior to that, Mr. Giraudi spent more than six years in various engineering and project management roles at Fluor Corporation, a publicly held engineering and construction firm. Mr. Giraudi received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
Robb Brock - CTO
Robb Brock serves as the company's Chief Technology Officer and was a co-founder of Buy.com; Robb designed and built one of the most advanced e-commerce systems. Robb served as the CTO of Interactive Media where he designed hardware for the digital signage and way finding industries. As a consultant, he was instrumental in First American Title’s Intranet, Extranet, and Internet developments. While at Datafaction, Inc., Robb served as Vice President of Software Development and was responsible for the design and development of the company’s software specializing in business management and entertainment accounting. In April of 1991, Robb helped pioneer the Internet by creating the first Internet Service Providers (ISP), CYBER.NET, in Southern California. Robb has been an independent consultant/contractor specializing in PICK software solutions for the Manufacturing, Distribution, Direct Marketing, Photographic Processing and Accounting industries. Robb holds a B.S. in Computer Science (summa cum laude) and over 23 years of computer hardware and software design experience.
