| | inFAMOUS | | Games: See more matches | | User Rating: 5 | | inFamous for the Playstation 3 Review By: Pete Haas - Cinema Blend Game Reviews Published on: 5/31/2009 6:20 PM | | While Crackdown was intended to be a pure sandbox game where you could mold a super hero and make your own fun, inFamous is a more narrative-driven experience that tells the story of one particular super hero and his adventure. The more carefully scripted campaign of inFamous has a few lulls but it also ascends to heights that a less linear game can't reach. read the full review | |

| | Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood new! | | Games: See more matches | | | Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood - Video Game Review By: Pete Haas - Cinema Blend Game Reviews Published on: 6/29/2009 10:01 PM | | Even if you don't cotton to the multiplayer component, Bound in Blood is an entertaining tale of greed, betrayal, and bloodshed in the Wild West. It's rare that a first-person shooter's best quality is its story and while that might be a bit of a backhanded compliment, the fact is that Techland delivered an experience comparable to the Western films that the development team obviously adore. read the full review | |

| | UFC 2009: Undisputed | | Games: See more matches | | | Video Reviews Available: 1 | | UFC 2009 Undisputed - Video Game Review By: Ryan Rigney - Cinema Blend Game Reviews Published on: 5/21/2009 4:13 PM | | The United Fighting Championship, or UFC, as the kids call it, has come a long way since its introduction in 1993. After being deemed as a spectacle of "human cock-fighting" by senators like John McCain, the sport went through a dark period in which many cable companies dropped it from their pay-per-view schedules, nearly killing off the UFC entirely. Plenty of crappy UFC-related video games have been released in the 16 years since the start of the sport as well. With UFC 2009 Undisputed, however, it seems that much like how many positive changes were made to the actual sport over time, the games have also improved. read the full review | |

What it isn't is an old-school style Resident Evil title or a survival horror game. It's a refinement of what made the best RE game great, and it looks incredible while doing it. Some would call it Resident Evil 4.5, and while it's a very basic description, that's selling it short. This isn't Gears of War, but it's still damn good. In short, yes, it's just as good as Resident Evil 4, if not better. read the full review

| | MLB '09: The Show | | Games: See more matches | | | Video Reviews Available: 2 | | MLB 09 The Show for the PS3 Review By: Matt Paprocki - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 4/12/2009 7:16 PM | | Sony’s San Diego Studios can do no wrong with The Show. This is the premiere sports franchise on the PS3, and the rare case where limited competition hasn’t hindered the game at all. While lacking substantial upgrades, MLB 09 offers incredible depth and value for a die-hard baseball fan. Immediately apparent upon booting the game is the lighting engine. In fact, it’s the most apparent new feature in ’09. The visual boost is remarkable, adding a sense of depth to the graphics absent in prior games in the series. The Show has come a long way on the PS3 since the rather poor and rushed ’07 entry. read the full review | |

I love Street Fighter. I loved it back when it was called Street Fighter II: The World Warrior and I loved the series all the way up to Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. But I don't love Street Fighter IV. I like it because, you know, it's fun and definitely has its moments, but I don't love it. And that's because, at least initially, it just doesn't FEEL like Street Fighter, if you know what I mean. And if you don't, then I'll explain. read the full review
