 | | 21. Battlestar Galactica Season 4.0 | | | Starring: Katee Sackhoff Edward James Olmos | | Format: DVD Release Date: 1/6/2009 | User Rating: 4.5 | | Video Reviews Available: 1 | | Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.0 - DVD Review By: Rafe Telsch - Cinema Blend DVD Reviews Published on: 1/5/2009 8:42 PM | | Battlestar Galactica is a series that isn't afraid to change. While I'm not about to go into spoiler territory and openly admit how this half of the season ends, it's sufficient enough to say that it's a paradigm shift that overshadows the revelation of the hidden Cylons, the brewing civil war, and all other dynamic changes the series has undergone. read the full review | |

 | | 26. Transformers-Complete First Season 25th Anniversary Edition new! | | | | Format: DVD Release Date: 6/16/2009 | | Transformers: The Complete First Season (25th Anniversary Edition) - DVD Review By: The Masked Movie Snobs - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 6/29/2009 8:15 AM | | Where previous DVD releases left something to be desired (remastered picture, but art missing, characters with the wrong colors, bad audio, and other subtle changes), this collection restores the original broadcast masters, complete with commercial bumpers and next episode previews. While this occasionally leads to some “soft” animation, as the original masters were not of the same quality as the remastered ones, Shout! Factory has color corrected these masters and blended them with the restored masters to present Transformers in a way not seen since these episodes were first broadcast. In addition, the sound is superb, as new stereo masters have been created from the original audio. read the full review | |

 | | 35. Parker Lewis Cant Lose-Season One new! | | | | Format: DVD Release Date: 6/30/2009 | | Parker Lewis Can't Lose - The Complete First Season - DVD Review By: Blake Matthews - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 6/29/2009 12:52 PM | | Parker Lewis Can’t Lose was a series that aired from 1990 through 1993 on the FOX network. The series followed Parker Lewis (Corin Nemic) and his “buds,” fellow classmate Mikey Randall (Billy Jayne) and freshman Jerry Steiner (Troy W. Slaten) whose various plots and money-making opportunities have made them the guys to know throughout the school. The buds' nemeses are school principal Grace Musso (Melanie Chartoff) and her student underlings, Frank Lemmer (Taj Johnson) and Parker’s little sister Shelly (Maia Brewton), who are trying to get Parker in detention or expelled. Throw in 6'7" giant Larry Kubiac (Abraham Benrubi) who would as soon as kill you for touching his lunch as helping the buds out for a Kubie-snack and has the catchphrase “Eat now?” and it’s no wonder this show achieved cult status very quickly. read the full review | |

 | | 37. Dukes of Hazzard-Complete 7th Season | | | Starring: Catherine Bach Tom Wopat | | Format: DVD Release Date: 12/5/2006 | | The Dukes of Hazzard - The Complete Seventh Season - DVD By: Chris Beaumont - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 1/11/2007 12:27 PM | | Here it is, the one all you Dukes fans have been waiting for -- the final season is here. Actually, I am surprised that it lasted seven years. I mean, I loved the show as a kid and in syndication, but it is kind of silly, and suffers from cookie cutter-style plotting. Still, Warner Bros. has done a nice job of delivering the final 17 episodes on six disks. The set is a little slim on the extras, but the episodes are rendered nicely. The season starts with one of the best episodes of the run, "Happy Birthday, General Lee." This episode flashes back eight years and recounts just how the 1969 Dodge Charger came to be in the possession of Dukes. read the full review | |
