He moves about in his space/time vehicle (known as TARDIS) exploring, righting wrongs, fighting evil, and getting in and out of trouble in his own unique way. He is currently on his tenth incarnation. The Doctor has the ability to regenerate when critically injured. | | 15. Parker Lewis Cant Lose-Season One new! | | | | Format: DVD Release Date: 6/30/2009 | | Parker Lewis Can't Lose - The Complete First Season - DVD Review By: Blake Matthews - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 6/29/2009 12:52 PM | | Parker Lewis Can’t Lose was a series that aired from 1990 through 1993 on the FOX network. The series followed Parker Lewis (Corin Nemic) and his “buds,” fellow classmate Mikey Randall (Billy Jayne) and freshman Jerry Steiner (Troy W. Slaten) whose various plots and money-making opportunities have made them the guys to know throughout the school. The buds' nemeses are school principal Grace Musso (Melanie Chartoff) and her student underlings, Frank Lemmer (Taj Johnson) and Parker’s little sister Shelly (Maia Brewton), who are trying to get Parker in detention or expelled. Throw in 6'7" giant Larry Kubiac (Abraham Benrubi) who would as soon as kill you for touching his lunch as helping the buds out for a Kubie-snack and has the catchphrase “Eat now?” and it’s no wonder this show achieved cult status very quickly. read the full review | |

 | | 24. Burn Notice-Season 2 new! | | | Starring: Bruce Campbell Gabrielle Anwar | | Format: DVD Release Date: 6/16/2009 | | Burn Notice, Season Two - DVD Review By: Fitz - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 6/22/2009 9:04 AM | | Imagine if you will a television series with the dry wit of House, the improvised gadgetry of MacGyver, and the spy games of the Bourne Identity. Then you might have an idea of what Burn Notice is like before you watch it. I have to admit when season one started airing on the USA Network, I avoided it, thinking it would be formulaic and boring. But I caught myself watching when season two began airing last summer. And then it was too late for me. I'd been ensnared by the witty dialog, clever contraptions, and a great pairing of writers and actors. At that point I went to Hulu and began watching all the episodes I'd missed from season one. And then I made sure I caught all of season two when it aired. I was hooked. read the full review | |
