There’s not much here to distinguish it from the recent spate of Apatow and Co. productions, except for the absence of Seth Rogen, and its men behaving like boys motif will be totally familiar to anyone who has seen any of said films. Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott star as Danny and Wheeler, a pair of energy drink pitchmen disguised as anti-drug motivational speakers. Wheeler is the typical Scott slacker character – carefree and satisfied with a dead-end job because of its minimal effort required. Danny is the typical Rudd misanthrope – pissed off at the world’s stupidity and dissatisfied with his life, despite his seven-year long relationship with his girlfriend Beth (Elizabeth Banks). read the full review | |
