I think its nicely designed to fit 4 AA batteries or 2 AAA batteries. I like the car charger cable along with it it comes in handy if you are on long drive or go on camping.
Although not sure about the batteries which come along with the charger , but with my Canon A540 camera on full charge the 2 AA batteries can take around 100 photos. Was this review helpful?

I just got it yesterday and so far so good. The only thing I found disappointing is the charging time. It advertised 2 hours charging, but it took 4 hours to charge the batteries that came with it. Overall, it is still a good buy in my opinion. Was this review helpful?

Great starter, you definitely want AAA batteries with at least 800 mah, and AA with at least 2000 mah for the best performance. Lenmar is the best in the business. Was this review helpful?

This product charges the following combinations only: 4 AA batteries at once, 2 AA batteries at once, 2 AA and 2 AAA batteries at once, 2 AAA batteries at once. It can't charge a single battery alone, or three batteries. One must have an even number of batteries to start charging. This may be troublesome when you have only one rechargeable battery! Otherwise the performance is good. It was able to charge four AA batteries in just around 2 hours - exactly as advertised. The packet includes additional charger for use with car cigarette lighter, which is pretty handy for people who want to charge batteries insidse their cars. Was this review helpful?

I have bought several battery chargers for my personal use and for giving as gifts. Usually I base my purchasing decisions on price. Out of 7 different sets I have bought, this is my favorite. It does charge batteries in two hours, even if they are completely dead. It also comes with a car adapter. You will definitely like this charger, and the price is almost unbeatable. I highly recommend it, but do not buy them all, because I plan on buying another one. Was this review helpful?
