 Editor's Note
The beginning of a long history of slime and swine in the shaping of Great Britain's heritage. Set during the Dark Ages, these are the comic misadventures of the terminally treacherous comic villain, Edmund, Duke of Edinburgh, alias the Black Adder (Rowan Atkinson). The first part includes three episodes,"The Foretelling," "Born to Be King" and "The Archbishop." The Black Adder continues his irreverent antics in the second part with three more episodes, "The Queen of Spain's Beard," "Witchsmeller Pursuivant," and "The Black Seal."
