4 of 5 We wore out the VHS... Tuesday, November 26, 2002 Miki from Merrillville, IN
I am purchasing this movie again because our VHS is worn out. My husband is in the computer field and is a HUGE fan of this movie. He watches it at least twice a month. It is a fun movie and is really interesting. I love the characters and even though I am not that into computers..it still grasps my attention. I would recommend it to anyone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Fantastic..... Tuesday, January 29, 2002 Unusual Activity from Somewhere in the Matrix
To all those out there curious about computers this movie is a MUST HAVE! I believe every person in the U.S. should sit down in front of the tube once in a while and pop in Hackers! Are the things he does on his computer fake or real? Anything's possible......;) Hope this review helps you make a decision on this great flick! Enjoy! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Classic cheesy computer movie Tuesday, January 18, 2000 Eric from Rochester, New York
This movie is a great classic as to how things in the computer world don't really work. But that by all means does not make this a bad movie, I do own it, and I love it. I have seen it about 100 times and it's still a great movie. It's great for those who are not technologically inclined and even better for those who are (comical value). Overall I would recomend this movie, it's good! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Another in the greats of computer movies Wednesday, December 29, 1999 Slickfty2 from Frederick, MD
This is the best computer movie out. It is a wonderfully inacurate movie about teenage computer hackers. Don't get me wrong I loved it, but don't expect to take up hacking and it be anything like in the movie. At least it has a good message... Hackers aren't necessarily the bad guys. Ties with the matrix as my favorite movie. Even better on DVD and in widescreen format. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE! Friday, July 09, 1999 xenozip from Murieta, CA
If you have ANY interest in computers at all, see this movie . . .NOW!!! A cool, if farfetched plotline that is total and 100% pure entertainment guaranteed to let you have a good time! Also, if you're a guy, the girl in the movie is pretty hot and, for you gals, the guys aren't that bad either! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Another lesser known comedy Sunday, June 27, 1999 jsmahler from San Jose, CA
Comedy? Hackers?! Amazingly, YES. This movie is filled with unending amounts of technical blunders and fantasies that only a few kinds of people would appreciate: a Hollywood producer and their victims - the unknowing masses who are unfamiliar with technology. Watch this movie only if you want to make yourself that much less intelligent. Was this review helpful?
