The AVerTV Express™ mini (Model H968U) is a DTV Ready compact and portable ExpressCard TV tuner. Through its High Gain antenna, it has the ability to receive HDTV Over-the-Air (ASTC), Unencrypted Digital Cable (ClearQAM) and FM Radio directly to your laptop at home with the family or out at your favorite coffee shop. AVer MediaCenter software has advanced real-time H.264 recording compression technology. This allow users record TV shows in 320 x 240 resolution, upload and play them on their iPod / PSP or any other portable media player.
The accompanying AVer MediaCenter software has enhanced PVR functions such as Picture Pause. With Picture Pause, you won’t miss any displayed information such as lottery ticket results, phone numbers and recipes, because you can pause the image, then continue viewing your program in real-time!
FM Radio and Rewinding Live TV are also part of the PVR functions as well as Record, Schedule Recordings to avoid missing your favorite programs and TimeShift.
