This was an excellent choice. . .a gift for my adult son! There are hundreds of netbooks out there and it's very difficult to make a decision. The reason I picked the Samsung N110 was because I couldn't find a bad review on it! I have the Samsung NC10 and just love it also. Both models can't be beat for the price and both come with Bluetooth, which can come in very handy. The keyboard is fantastic and I got a wireless mouse to go with it. . .prefer the mouse to the touchpad. Also, the battery lasts at least 8 hours or more on the N110 and about 6 hours or more on the NC10. Believe me, I researched just about every model and make out there and I am extremely pleased with my choices. You can't go wrong with the Samsung netbook. Stop thinking about it and buy one! LOL By the way, I also purchased the extended 3 year warranty for both at SquareTrade.com. Now I have peace of mind for 3 years. I hope this was helpful!

A great little netbook, even if the price is hefty compared to the eee or Aspire. Love the LONG battery life and the nearly life size keyboard. I thought the screen might seem awfully small, but it doesn't. It's the envy of everyone who sees it.

The new Samsung 110 notebook is everything the recent "laptop review' says... pluses- its nice to have, ultracompact, fast, functional to the point of simplicity, really bright screen, has a superb fullsize keyboard, and is very light. Works well with a couple of games I had loaded. It is currently very showy- Airport security at more than one location gave comments on its size and look. The competition is going to take note and move quickly on this. It has a nice material felt envelope case. And the battery lasts ages and ages. I had it on almost the whole trip across the atlantic on a flight... my seat neighbor on the plane asked about its staying power and was going to get one by the time the plane landed!!! A few minor, niggly negatives- yes its a little more expensive compared to other comparable ultracopmact notebooks; yes, the glossy surface does pick up fingerprints like an FBI case load; yes it could come with more compact and foldable power cord; and as most programs to load still come on disk/CD/DVD, an ultracopmact included external disc drive would have helped, You will need one, especially if you want to watch a DVD movie. A very niggly thing is the felt envelope case does not hold the power cord. In all this is one great machine, and it fits beautifully in coach seats on planes. I must be honest, I would never have chosen Samsung for a computer, but after this experience, i will pay attention. They thought out almost everything that a traveller needs.

The Samsung N110 is a great alternative to a larger laptop. Keyboard at 93 percent is easy to use. This is a solid piece of equipment. I had looked at other Netbooks, but this is a winner. Lots of features and it is very fast. It is great when travelling. One issue might be how you turn off the Bluetooth. It is not as easy as should be. But I would buy this product again without reservation. Great value. Lots of bang for the buck.

I just received my Samsung N110 yesterday, and so far it is everything I had hoped for and more. Before purchasing the N110, I had a Samsung NC10 Special Edition from Amazon.com. It was a wonderful little computer, but knowing that the N110 was coming out soon I decided to ship it back to Amazon - and boy am I glad that I did. I know that the differences between the N110 and NC10 SE are very minimal (discussed in more detail below), but the subtle differences in the N110 seem to make a difference. Biggest differences between NC10 Special Edition and N110 1. N110 has glossy screen, and NC10 SE is matte. At first I thought I would not like a glossy screen, but after using my new MacBook Pro 15" for the past few months, my mind has been swayed. 2. Ingratiated graphics: N110 has Intel 945 GSE w/ 128 MB VRAM vs NC10 having Intel 945 GSE w/ 64 MB VRAM. 3. Different chassis. Edges are rounder on the N110, along with the strip of red around the edges. I was skeptical before seeing the red strip in person, but now that I have I find it to be much easier on the eyes then the chrome strip around the NC10 SE. The rounder edges of the N110 also give it a more modern look and feel. Also, one of my TVs is a Samsung w/TOC, and I like it just fine. The only negative I could see people docking the Samsung for is its price. It is slightly higher then its competitors, but for that extra money you get a Netbook with an excellent build quality that cannot be found on its competitors (no squeaks or creeks or keyboard flex!). As far as why I picked the N110 over the NC10 SC, my thoughts are that I mind as well get the newest model, especially if it is less expensive that the current SE. Hope this insight is of some help.
