I order this for my Canon Powershop G7. It works well untill now. And 8G storage is enough for using. Excellent for it's price. Was this review helpful?

Incredible to think that you can get that much memory on one of these cards. Great for backup and cameras. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good value product Wednesday, May 13, 2009 A Customer from Windsor, CT
Works like any other higher price card. Was a little skeptical about the quality and performance when I ordered as I was not familiar with the manufacturers name. It was home on the third day with free delivery-that was easy!. Well packaged, need a blade/knife to cut open plastic.Loaded on the Kodak V1073 camera, worked just like other PNY or Kingston cards I have. Nothing to worry. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 good product for good price Monday, May 11, 2009 JD from raleigh, nc
i bought this 8G card for my new canon camera. it works just fine. the only problem i had was trying to get my card reader to read it. it wouldn't for some reason. i don't know if i need to format it cuz i just popped it in & started using it. but it worked fine when i hooked up the camera to the computer so i'm not too concerned with it. all in all, another successful purchase from buy.com. My 8 GB SD card arrived a couple of days before a trip to Washington DC. When I put it in the camera and saw that I had 3700 photos left to take, I realized I didn't need a spare, and could be gone a long, long time...
The photos came out great, the card is compatible with my Canon camera, and the card reader on my PC.

You can't beat the price. $15 for an 8GB SDHC card is fantastic. It will serve as a backup drive for my netbook. And it works just fine.
BUT -- I don't think I have ever encountered a product that was as difficult to remove from its packaging. This thing comes armored in a clear plastic blister that is embedded in a cardboard AND TYVEK (!) sheet. You can't rip the cardboard sandwich open because of the Tyvek. You can't twist the whole thing so that the clear plastic blister pops out -- it's almost the same size as the cardboard and Tyvek sandwich. Give up and use a knife or scissors.
Very entertaining! Was this review helpful?
