4 of 5 Nice NC headphone for basic use Friday, January 01, 2010 H. Zhou from Lake Jackson, TX
The headphone is a big bang for the buck. For less than $50, it is worth it.
Sound is great! Noise cancelling function works well overall but it does generate sissing background noise which sometimes can be annoying.
The size of the ear cup is large but provides necessary wearing comfort. Folding mechanism is nice but not very useful in practice especially considering it comes with a soft case not a hard one.

1. These headphones are certainly better than Bose triport which come around $140.
2. These headphones have amazing clarity, though not as much as Bose Quiet comfort 3
3. Bass is optimum. Not very high.
4. The best thing about this headphone is its superb Soundstaging. You will feel like you are actually sitting in a concert. Pretty Amazing work there, able planet.Pump up the volume, and you will feel its a home theatre in your ears.
5. The only glitch i feel about these headphones is that, if you switch OFF the noise cancellation, the volume drastically lowers and the pretty amazing soundstaging vanishes. The sound becomes tinny. So everything goes away, so u need the noise cancellation all, all the time, which is not so good because it will eat up the battery.
6. Lastly, I would say i am very happy with the purchase. Hope they dont break soon. But the build quality looks pretty solid. So i dont think they will break. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Can't beat the price Saturday, November 21, 2009 A Customer from Orlando, FL
I just used them for the first time on a trip across the US and the noise cancellation was great. Many noise canceling headphones have the battery pack in the middle of the cord and I find that clunky. The battery on these go right into the headphones. I was also surprised how little room they took up in my backpack when folded up. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Pretty sweet headphones!!! Friday, October 02, 2009 Talon from Arizona
These foldable headphones are great. I have purchased several different pairs of headphones in the past and not one of them compare to the Able Planet headphones. The clarity is amazing. I also like the fact that they fold up and they are compact so when I travel I can just tuck them in my bag with no worries. I have since bought several other pairs as gifts. Love them! 5 of 5 Sexy Headphones for Travel or Leisure Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Daryl from San Diego, CA
These are a big bang for your buck item! The sound is awesome! The base is bold and the look is sexy! I would buy these headphones for your brief case and never take them out. Foldable and easy to transport for travel, be it business or pleasure. Foldable headphones that don’t cheapen the sound quality. The clearness of the speech and music are exceptional. Great product! Great company! I look forward to seeing what these guys develop next. I truly can hear the difference! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Compact Convenience Tuesday, April 21, 2009 A Customer from Aspen, CO
These headphones, especially for the price, are the best thing since sliced bread! The sound is awesome -- with and without the noise cancellation feature turned on. Compared to other models with the same features, the Able Planet Foldable blows away the competition. I use them for travel as well as just chillin and have don't know what I would do without them -- the sound quality is definitely top notch! Was this review helpful?
