Overall, I am very excited and happy with the FD-80 model. The price was the lowest here & free shipping made it even better. Two things to be aware of when deciding on a dehydrator. 1 - this model does not have a timer, which isnt really necessary but a nice addition to have. 2 - even though this model is rectangular in shape and offers more room for drying, it still has the hole in the center of each tray (similar to round models) making it impossible to utilize the entire flat surface of each tray. But again, I am very pleased with this model being my first dehydrator!
