Having trouble getting a clear view for your remote receiver or would you like to mount your components in a closet? Without a clear line of sight infrared (IR) signals from a remote control will not reach the equipment. We have the answer. Our Remote Control Repeater Kit contains all equipment necessary to remotely operate 4 components (expandable to 12 components) using your standard remotes. Mount the IR receiver in a central location and connect to the IR Distribution Block. This block repeats the signals through emitters to your electronic components. Your components may now be mounted in your entertainment center, closet or another room! The kit is self-contained and easy to connect.

With this kit you may mount a receiver in a convenient place on or near your entertainment system. The receiver has a 9 foot cable that is then attached to the repeater system that is mounted in your entertainment cabinet.

The kit includes 4 emitters. These emitters are connected from the repeater system and placed over the IR receiver of the equipment. Simple installation and hook up while using your existing remotes.

This product was easy to setup and it controls all four componenets in our entertainment center with the door closed. I put the IR receiver on top of my flat screen TV and everyone loves it. This is a great product.

This kit works flawlessly. Perfect affordable solution for even the most novice user. I could not be more pleased with the ease of setup (10 minutes or less) and how well it works. For PLASMA screens - great news! This WILL work with PLASMA screens. I had no issues using this kit with my plasma. Just make sure the "eye" of the IR receiver can't "see" your plasma screen. Plasma screens emit IR frequencies which will interfere with proper repeater operation. I mounted IR receiver flush with the bottom of my plasma and it works perfectly. The receiver itself gives you feedback (via a blue LED) so that you know it is "reading" your remote's commands as you press the buttons. I found this helpful as you won't feel like you are pointing your remote at some empty black unit under your TV, wondering if the unit is capturing your remote button-strokes or not. Also, I was able to extend my receiver line about 50 feet using existing CAT5 wiring in my home (My theater equipment is in the basement in a server rack). This likely voided the warranty, but I want everyone to know that it can be done and works fine. You might be better to just purchase a 1/8" extension cable and not cut any wires. The final step of connecting the repeater output lines to your components is as simple as plugging in a pair of headphones. This unit will also supports direct connection to compatible receivers and/or cable boxes (into the "IR" jack on the back of some components via 1/8" to 1/8" mini male cable) eliminating the need for the stick-on repeater units. Overall a fantastically simple and reliable kit.

This product works just as advertised. I have my tv on the wall with the inputs in a cabinet, and this device allows us to keep the cabinet doors closed and still access the devices. Set-up is very easy.

I bought this to replace the "Next Generation Remote control Extender" which was a good idea but was very unreliable. Very happy with this, the price was great and it works every time.
