4 of 5 Very good and Easy of setup Saturday, April 25, 2009 A Customer from NJ
Excellent product for the price and the range compared to similar products. When I migrated from earlier Netgear wireless router (where I used get max download speed of 5-6mbs)to this n-wireless product with the online service (no changes), my download is on average now around 10-12mbs.

Bought this to replace a dying RangeMax "G" Unit. Setup was easy. Easy to program via the web interface. Coverage in my 2600sqft house has doubled. The "N" technology with the multiple antennas really helps. Get yourself "N" receivers for anything you want to hook up to it. "G" was good, but the speed of the "N" blows it away. Very happy. Only gripe- the instruction manual either needed a spell/grammar check, or needed to be written by people who speak fluent English. Was this review helpful?

I followed the installation/configuration instructions and completed everything after frustrating delays (Each time I would attempt the set-up, the server connection would progressively slow). The manual, though coherent was full of gramatical errors, suggesting ineptness - or at lest a lack of attention to detail. After much difficulty getting hold of tech support, they were totally unable to help me and didn't inspire confidence that they really knew what they were doing. They suggested all the things I'd already done - rebooting the modem, router, etc, but nothing more of substance. I am not a computer expert, but neither I am inept, and I typically have no trouble installing hardware/software, nor troubleshooting. I was finally sent a firmware upgrade, which as it turns out was uninstallable. A total waste of time. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Product! Friday, December 19, 2008 ShutterBug from Batavia, IL
Similiar experience as other reviewer. Easy to set up and I have 2 laptops (one on Vista and one on XP) humming along with no issues. My den is in the corner of the house and I have no problems moving between basement and 2nd floor. The unit is small with 3 fat antennas so i wans't much bigger than my previous router. Highly recommended. Buy.com does a great job providing excellent in-stock products at great prices. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Ambicom WL300N-AR, great product ! Tuesday, June 10, 2008 A Customer from LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Very happy with this new product from Ambicom and of course very satisfied with the top notch service from Buy.com as well. Price was great and the service was excellent. The WL300N-AR is a great router. Signal strength is a cut above to other wireless routers I've used in the past. I use WL300N-AR router for my Compaq which has "G" built-in laptop and the results was astonishing. Very easy set up using the Web interface. Setting up the security features is no problem. The performance was unbelievable it almost runs like it was hardwired to the router. Downloads large files in just a matter of seconds. GREAT DEAL! Was this review helpful?
