I bought 2 of these and just set them up so I have not had them for very long. So far so good, I am VERY happy with this monitor. Great resolution and extremely crisp, performance looks like i bought a 300$ monitor honestly. I upgraded from 2 fairly higher end but older 17" monitors and It was a great decision. It really feels/looks like i have doubled my overall window size. drawbacks if you can say that. wish it had more options like DVI along with VGA and maybe some USB ports, also the base/stand is very flimsy and short. I wish i could upgrade it not sure if its possible? But these concerns are so minor I still give it a 5 out of 5 if you are in the market for a lower end Large monitor. Overall I absolutely cannot complain for the money..

This monitor is great if you want a larger view. I knew going in that it was not digital. However, the resolution is great. I would suggest using the driver even though it will work without it. The driver allows a bit more ability to use Window's controls to make adjustments. Also READ the manual. After a bit of reading, I got the screen resolution set to an appropriate size so that images are not stretched. I am very happy with this monitor

I've never before felt the need to write a review before but I've enjoyed this purchase so much I had to acknowledge it. Great price for a very good monitor. I love the image quality. And Buy.com was prompt with delivery. Just remember that there's no DVI input.

I got this monitor as a christmas present and when it arrived I opened it and set it up with ease. It works GREAT!!! My reasoning for buying this monitor was it had a paypal refund,size, price and a 3 year warrantee!!! most only are 1 year. I would deffinatly recogmend this to friends.

I bought this for my son whose monitor was on the fritz. He has only had words of praise for it. I loved how light and thin it was - it will be much easier for him to travel with when school ends. Think it was a fair price for the size/features.

$116 for a 22in monitor! Picture is clear, and sharp. Has a few dead pixels on top line. If I could get another one for 116, I would buy it.

more than happy with the monitor, just what i needed ! allows you to make the font size bigger, so you can sit back and view everything without being too cramped or missing something. perfect for people who have to spend long hours looking at a monitor, do your eyes and back a favor and get one of these !

If you start from the premise that all you need a monitor to do is display images, this monitor works just fine, especially for the price. It did arrive with one dead pixel and, as previously mentioned, the stand has no vertical adjustment, but the blown pixel is near a corner and I'll look for a stand that is more flexible--or hang it on the wall. I don't mind the fact that it has no onboard speakers as my detatched speakers work just fine. XP found the driver immediately, too. I also bought one for my son, so if he destroys it, I won't howl too loudly! A good value, and of course Buy.com's delivery and customer service are second to none.

Well, after reading all reviews I decided I want one. Unfortunateley, mine came with 3 stuck pixels (1 red, 2 blues). I tried to unstuck them with software and massage technique but not single one came to life. They only show up when the background is dark. They bother me the most when I'm watching movies and the movie is dark. Other than that, I only see them when I restart the computer. Good Luck.

This is a very good monitor, especially for the price. I am a photographer, and use it primarily for viewing my work. It is more than bright enough, and the clarity is outstanding. Colors are rich and vivid, and with a slide show, image changes are instantaneous. A DVI input would have been nice, as most modern monitors have something more than a VGA connector. The one annoying thing is a few pixels at the top which are always bright red.It is a small string of maybe 5 to 10 in a straight line at the very top of the screen. I'm sure it is within the standard for LCD screens, but my eye is just drawn to it. With these pixels ignored, though, it is a beautiful monitor.

Bought this a few weeks ago as a second monitor. It works great with my new video card. It came with one dead pixel; but otherwise, I love the monitor. The lack of the DVR port is no big deal. I use a cheap converter to plug its VGA plug into my DVR port. It was really a fantastic value at the price I paid. Hopefully it will stay working...

I got this monitor for $132 with free shipping so the value is really good. Nice clear picture. Large bright screen. Able to adjust the tilt of it easily too. For the money I would buy one again.

So far, I've never gone wrong with an AOC monitor. This one doesn't dissapoint. It has a nice simple cabinet and a very good display. I bought two this time and there are no dead pixels on either unit. The only oddity was that one came with an all black enclosure and one came with a silver accent piece along the bottom and a silver stand. Who knows why, but both units look great and I'm not complaining.

I bought this monitor for a $136 right before X-mas. And I recived it NEXT DAY! with free shipping, I could not be more happy with it. As stated in other reviews, the stand does not adjust, which fells a bit cheap. But I purchased a wall mount at my local electronics store (Frys) for 20 dollars and it fixed the problem. One thing this monitor does well is movies, it's also a capable gaming monitor, and has enough definition to not fry your eyes while writing memos, email, or script. Over all an A+, and worth every penny!

The resolution is very good, and the ease of setup...with the exception of lack of owners manual...was easy. We did have to go to the company website to complete the registration...and that took just knowing how to do that...but the monitor itself is great. As long as you dont need a lot of customer support, this is a great buy.

The picture quality is very good, with even brightness over the entire screen. My only (minor) complaints: The bezel below the screen is silver on mine and looks a little cheesy to me. It only has VGA input. (Not a big deal on this size monitor, just make sure you have the correct adapter if your video card is DVI only.)

good value for the money. No DVI, which I knew before I purchased. Not as nice as my 22" Samsung, but $60 cheaper. It did take some time to get the settings to my satisfaction.

I agree with the other reviews as this was a great buy for the price. The resolution is good and the color sharp. It was a very quick connect with no problems. I would recommend the monitor as a sound purchase. Also very fast delivery on this product.

Good size monitor, arrived within 2 days of ordering, very easy to set up, resolution not what I expected. Compared with my 17" NEC 1712, the sharpness is lacking. I set it up as part of a dual screen system - works well enough.

I purchased this monitor for $149.99. I had been waiting for a good price on a basic 22"-24" monitor for quite some time. When this one came up, I jumped on it immediately! After using it for about 3 weeks now, I have absolutely no complaints with it. The only thing that I would look for in another monitor is an HDMI input. This one only has VGA which, for my application, works just fine. No dead pixels so far and a much larger screen than the 19" I had previously been using (my daughter inherited that one!). Overall, a very good, basic monitor for the price. I'd purchase it again.

All this for $149.00,I'm using this on an old IBM R50 laptop everything great so far,was a snap to set up (plug in and play) most of the time I adjust the screen size to about 19" and the brightness to the text setting,when I need the full resolution a quick tap on F11 and I'm blown away buy the SIZE!...Love shopping at Buy.com,shipping included on most items is a big PLUS.

It is a perfect monitor for computing, because it has only VGA input. If you want to have high quality digital signal input to view movie, graphical work, it may not be the one. I use it as my second monitor for my laptop. so it is perfect.

This is a very large monitor, and so far has been an excellent value for the price. I hooked it up to my MacBook Pro and was up and running in minutes, and have very much enjoyed the extra real estate. It adds a lot to my 15 inch screen. The picture quality is not quite as good as my smaller monitor, but for the price I couldn't ask for anything more!

I had a 19" Trinitron at home that just quit on me after many years of good service. After having used several flat panel monitors at my job, I was not too thrilled at their lack of contrast and sharpness. So when I went shopping for a new monitor, that was one of the top things that I looked for. I spotted this one that was listed at 3000:1 contrast ratio. The reviews were really good on it, and it was refurbished. Now that is a bargain. I'm a photographer so having a good monitor is extremely important to me. I love the big bright wide screen. After a bit of tweaking on the brightness/contract/gamma, I settled on a setting that was perfect for me. For some users, the lack of height and swivel adjustment may be a problem. For me It sits on my multi-tier computer desk at the perfect height so I do not have to do any adjustments ever. I now watch DVD movies on it, and run PhotoShop, and check emails all at the same time. =)

After using several flat panel monitors in several places I found that this one is as good as any I've tried. It's clear, bright and the color is consistent. What it lacks compared to many is an adjustable stand. It will adjust the angle front to back and that is all. No swivel, no height adjustment. The bottom of the screen is permanently 4" from the desk. You can use your old Wordperfect manuals if you want to raise it. :)
