With only 16gb of flash memory instead of a hard drive on my new Dell Mini netbook, storage space is definitely at a premium. By plugging this card into the SDHC card reader on the Mini, I suddenly have a data drive with 4gb of storage for all of my data files and room to grow. It behaves exactly like a drive on the computer, and gives the little computer the capacity to carry all of my data on board. A great addition, and another terrific product from SanDisk at a great price from buy.com.

Careful, this is a SDHC card that can be damaged by putting it in the SD reader. It made the images unreadable. It does not work in my older camera but is great in the Canon SD1000. Will hold more than 1000 pictures! Priced very well and high quality from SanDisk.

With a Canon 630 the card shows Over 500 pics at the highest settings. Make sure that the device can use SDHC cards. Some older (more than a year or two) devices cannot use these cards.

SDHC (high capacity) is not backward compatible. Make certain
that your camera, reader, memory slot on computer is not only
SD. It must be SDHC. ( My mistake )

I bought this for my Canon PowerShot SX100IS, but there is no indication on the camera itself that it is compatible with SDHC. However, a look through the manual shows this camera is compatible with several memory cards, this being one of them. I now have more memory for videos and more photos. Just check the manual for your device before buying.

I have never had a problem with any memory card in the last
10 years. This card will not work in my Canon SD-500 nor
my Dell Inspirion 9300 laptop. Not new equipment, but only 3 years old.
I took it on a trip to Mexico, and luckily I didn't need it and had brought enough cards. Maybe I can get a replacement, but I
wouldn't be surprised if I had the same results.
Seems others have had the same problem.
I'm very surprised...we're not talking "hi tech" here.

Outstanding value and, as expected, delivered value, price and product. Lot's of storage that I use in my Garmin GPS for MP3's and Digital Books. One caution, be sure your product accepts "High Capacity" cards, older units may not. It might have been helpful to elaborate that this is a HC card and not compatable with all SD card units. Read the fine print. Product shipped next day, fast service.

just so everyone knows this is a class 2 SDHC card
that means its VERY slow compared to other cards(notice how they dont mention it, i found out by doing a google search on the mfc part #) if ur using this for a camera consider a class 6 or at the least a class 4 card. DONT listen to the people who say this doesnt work, it just because they are idiots and cant decipher that sdHC is not the same as SD even though they look identical. SDHC readers and cameras accept both while older cameras and reader only accect SD(a good way to remember is that if its less than 2Gigs its SD normal and More than 2 gigs is SDHC)
