5 of 5 Good mouse Sunday, July 06, 2008 A Customer from Garland, TX
Found this mouse for an excellent bargain after reading that laser mouses are the way to go. And I knew that Bluetooth is cool because you don't need any kind of adapter sticking out of a USB port. Sure enough, this is a great mouse. Works on just about every surface I've tried it on so far and has a good range....works further away than you would ever reasonably need to use it. Seems precise and the scrollwheel works fine. The horizontal scrolling feature is inoperable for me - I can tell something was broken in there when it arrived. But I would never use that anyway, so I'm okay.
The mouse deactivates itself pretty quickly after you leave it sitting - within about 3 or 4 seconds. That means you have to move it a bit to wake it up. It also goes into hibernation before too long and you have to click the buttons and move it around to get it back. A bit annoying, but I'm glad that it's saving power. I've been using the mouse a pretty fair amount for several days and it's going strong. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Mouse Quit Working Saturday, June 28, 2008 Jerry from Tennessee
It was easy to connect to my XP Laptop and use. I am disappointed that it quit working so quickly. Bought the mouse June 4, 2008. It quit working June 27, 2008. This is the first IO Gear product I have purchased and possibly the last. There are too many good quality products on the market. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 One of the Better Mice I've Used Monday, June 23, 2008 A Customer from Cromwell, CT
This is my first bluetooth-enabled mouse. It won't be my last. the built quality is excellent. It has a solid look and feel and is only slightly small for my average-sized male hand. It is nonetheless comfortable and easy to manipulate. It clicks crisply and solidly. It is VERY precise. Setup is not difficult if you've installed anything else at all. Either way, follow the directions closely. The factory default tracking speed is VERY fast, so you'll most likely have to adjust the tracking speed to something slower. NOTE: This mouse does NOT come with a bluetooth receiver, so if your computer is not bluetooth-enabled you will need to purchase and install a USB bluetooth receiver, a device similar in appearance to a small thumb drive. That notwithstanding, this is an excellent product and highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Mouse (Vista Compatible) Thursday, June 12, 2008 Lauren from Canton, MI
I had trouble finding a nice bluetooth mouse that worked with Vista without problems. This mouse works beautifully. Instructions say to charge the batteries for 10 hours before using. I think the batteries I received were duds as that did not work. I put regular AAA batteries in it and it connected in about 30 seconds. There is no light that trasmits under the mouse like your typical optical mouse. It fits perfectly in my hand and is not too small nor too big. Overall, I would definitely recommend this mouse Was this review helpful?

I installed this mouse on my 2007 Apple iMac (Intel Core 2 Duo) running OSX 10.4.4. This mouse has a nice overall design and is comfortable to use. The antibacterial finish is a thoughtful touch. The appearance the mouse looks decent as well. The initial hookup via Bluetooth is a bit counterintuitive, but the instructions are sufficiently clear (mostly).
I would caution buyers about a potential concern, at least as they appeared on my iMac: The tracking speed when set to the same speed as my stock wired mouse was far to fast, with the slightest nudge sending the cursor all the way across my 20" widescreen monitor. I noticed that when I changed the mouse settings in the OS to compensate for the speed problem, I could not slow it down enough until I got to the lowest speed setting, which was extremely slow. Yet, one setting up from the slowest setting was too fast for us. Perhaps IOGEAR will provide a new driver for the Mac, but until then, we won't use this mouse often.
To be fair, this mouse is very accurate and it seems to be a solid device. My only major concern is the hypersensitivity it has displayed. It is a good value; however, users who are concerned about speed should be prepared for some issues. Was this review helpful?
