Bought these for a DELL LATITUDE D610 and they worked perfectly, speeding up the laptop slightly. BUT...be careful you don't get any dust on any of the contacts as you replace the memory as that will give you a weird error (easy to fix via Google), and be careful again when putting in the memory module underneath the keyboard as it almost sliced thru my keyboard cable! :-)

I have a Dell Inspiron E1705, and this was a very cheap way to double my memory. I've had no problems. It doubled the memory and I was up and running within minutes. Oh, one more thing, it was even easier to install than my desktop computer's. And, I'm not a computer guru.

Arrived fast/ few days. I disconnected power and removed battery, opened case, [HP 9600 series notebook] pulled old memory, installed new memory - make sure it is fully seated, put battery back and reconnected power. Computer came up knowing/using the new memory amount. I noticed an increase in operational speed. No problems as of a month.

I just bought this to replace the 512MB RAM I had in my laptop. This is a good pick especially for the price and I could really see the difference in the speed. I will give it somewhere between 4 to 4.5 but since we do not have 4.5, have given 4.

Upgraded RAM for Dell Inspiron E1505/6400 Notebook. Interesting thing, it is BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE with lower RAM speeds in MHz. Works perfectly fine so far.

I`m extremly satisfied with the 2x1GB Kingston RAM that I bought I have an Acer laptop, and if you have the window vista premiun operating system like I do, It is highly recomended that you have at least 2GB of Ram on your notebook. My pc I notice runs a lot more faster and much more effiently than before, and for that bargain price, you can`t beat it. It was easy to unplug the two 512 MB RAM I had, and then plug in the two 1GB RAM that I bought, before you do all this, make sure your pc is turned off, unplug your AC- cord to your pc,and remove your battery pack on your PC, then remove the back panel of your laptop very carefully so not to drop any of the little screws inside. find where your old RAM chips are located and remove them, before you take them out look at how the old chips, front and backside are positined in. Plug in the new chips in the same way. This is a great buy.

I bought 2 of these 2gb kits one for an Acer notebook and one for a Sony VAIO notebook. The differance from 1gb to 2gb WOW so much faster and easy to install.

I couldn't find a better price for a 2 GB ram for my laptop. Other prices were not even close. I used the ram for my Dell Dimension E1505 laptop, installed it according to the easy instructions enclosed, and it worked right away. I clearly notice the significant improvement in the speed of my laptop and it's definitely worth it for the price.

Bought this RAM to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite A105 after upgrading the OS from XP to Vista premium. The higher speed 667mhz RAM was backward compatible to the original 533mhz system speed. Installation was literally a "snap-in". Very happy. Another smooth Buy.com transaction...

I am running windows Vista and it was very slow on the factory 512 RAM. After upgrading to 2 Gig my programs start and run much faster than I had expected, and the whole computer turns on and off much faster too. Very noticable difference. I have had no crashes or other problems since installing the new RAM over 2 weeks ago. Wish I had done it sooner.

I've never replaced memory in a computer before and this was so simple. On top of that, the price couldn't be beat for the type of memory (and YES, I did shop around, and NO this review isn't being generated by someone that works for or knows someone at the company). My laptop was a dog while running Vista with 1GB, after an upgrade it's pretty quick now...though I still hate Vista. The memory was very easy to install and worked perfectly right away.

I had installed the modules in my HP Pavilion laptop. Worked perfectly fine. Just make sure to read the memory replacement instructions for the laptop carefully. There are some tutorial videos in the HP website.
