I love it camera. It works greats. I really like that it comes with an integrated microphone. The picture quality is exceptional and the sound quality is very good. No need to speak loudly, it picks up my voice with no problems. I use it with Skype every day to talk to friends and family. My Dad bought two of them. My sister bought one. Many of the aunts and uncles now have one.

I bought this on sale from buy.com and I cannot be more satisfied both with the service from buy.com and the quality of this webcam. The video quality is stunningly good and is comparable to what I get from my JVC camcorder. Installed easily on my XP machine and is compatible with Skype. I now do product demos over the web with this camera. Unfortunately, it's only one-on-one now (limited by Skype) but the potential customer is quite happy to get a thorough look at our product without much work on his part. We save a lot by not shipping our product for demo to customers who may only be window shopping. Highly recommended.

These are the best webcams available to date. I've tried other webcams and their image quality is not anywhere close to the Logitech Pro 9000. I've purchased 5 and sent 3 to relatives in other countries. Great product and great price.

Having one of these Logitech Pro 9000 webcams in use and very satisfied with it, we chose a pair of them to give a retired family member whose daughter and grandchildren had moved from living near them to a city many miles away. We sent the two Logitech Pro 9000 webcams to them for their fortieth wedding anniversary. They had them hooked up and working in short order and are thrilled to be able to talk to and see their family.

Having a one son and his family serving in the USMC, and another son away at school, both far away, I decided to purchase webcams for us and them. After reading the reviews, I purchased a couple of the Logitech Pro 9000. They are crystal clear in sound and video, and work like a champ. My family is once again in our home, (so to speak). It was easy to set up, and is easy to use. If you have a loved one away from home, and the phone just isn't enough, then you need to get this camera. We talk free on Skype, and it's wonderful to see them face to face. It's wide angled enough to set three or four people in front of it, so we all can talk at once. We love our kids, and this helps us parents/grandparents with the long distance blues quite a bit! Technology is truly a blessing!

I am pleasantly surprised by this web cam. It takes good pictures and the video quality is pretty good. I wish the light worked better, but that is really my main complaint. I've used it to chat on a few different websites and have found it fairly easy to use. The one thing I don't like is that the software does not allow you to use it with more than one site at a time. I think that the glass lens makes a big difference in picture quality. It tracks movement really well.

Loved all aspects of buying from Buy.com. The product itself worked perfectly with Skype and gmail, without installing the software from the CD that came with it. For using YM and others you do need to install the software. I have found that installing the software lowers the quality of the image. I know, its weird. But since I use only Skype and gmail no complaints there. Also, when it comes to webcams you do get what you pay for. Linux vs Windoooze is a completely different argument. Cheers!

The Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 is undoubtedly the best webcam on the market, but only if your computer meets at least the "recommended" requirements, not the minimum requirements. My desktop has Windows XP SP3, an Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz processor, and USB 2.0, which falls between minimum abd recommended requirements, and I only get the basic functions, the minimum resolution and no fun stuff. My laptop has Windows Vista Home Premium SP1, a dual core Athlon X2 processor, and USB 2.0, which exceeds the recommended requirements, and I get all the functions, resolutions, and fun stuff. I am still happy with it on the desktop, but if this were my only computer I would feel that I spent too much money for too little functionality.

I have always purchased Logitec products. I am unhappy my Procam9000 based solely upon my operating system is Visat media 64bit. As you know, not evertyhgin works well with the 64bit. Although Logitech offers a down load driver for the 64bit, it still experiences issues. I am not returning it beacuse I assume that Logitech will correct and upgrade the driver. The webcam itself is fantastic and works great on my older computer (running xp). On my 64bit, it works, but using Yahoo chat, I can not open webcam without firtsa opening Logitech's QuickCam program, then I can go into yahoo. Its an inconvenience.

Great multipurpose cam, easy setup and use, compatible with Vista. Just a little on the pricey side. The price will drop as more cams catch up with these specs.

I've tried many cheap webcams and they have worked so-so to poor. Having got fed up with wasting money on them, I scoured the web for reviews on this one and everyone rated it high. It was no mistake. The video quality is truly awesome. I wasn't interested in all the other extra (painting etc), I just wanted a really good picture and this has it. The zoom capability, the image settings (contrast, brightness, color etc), the auto focus, all those important features and the outstanding quality of the captured images make this worth every cent.

Two things I was disappointed with.... 1) Mounting flexibility (already reported, but still annoying on such a beautiful camera with basic HD images) 2) No easy way to protect lens during transport. I have a laptop because I need to move my computer around. There is no way to fold up the camera and stand so the stand protects the fine Zeiss lens. I am looking for some kind of small bag that will protect the lens during transport. Logitech please fix this - I will need another camera next year!

This Logitech Pro 9000 Webcam is undoubtedly one of the best ever! Extremely simple to install and very user-friendly. Has lots of great added features. High Quality Video. I use it to see my grand baby who lives in Denver, which is great because we live so far away and don't get to visit often. I would highly recommend this Webcam to anyone.

This little camera is light, compact, choke full of features, and easy to use. I especially like the picture quality and mirror imaginging and it also has many features I haven't used yet. The software is easy to install giving you added features and you can update the software.

I bought Quick Cam Pro 9000 so I can talk to my family. The clarity on this camera is amazing! And the mic is very sharp as well. I am very pleased with the product. Set-up is very easy..even for those that are technically challenged. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a superior webcam.

This camera is all that I hoped it woould be. It is fast and does not blur during fast movements as my built in camera. The software seem very unobstrusive.

I have gone through several web cams before finding this one. It is by far the best I have seen yet. Definitely worth the money. I use it to see my wife and baby when i am on the road and it is outstanding.

My wife wanted a webcam for her computer and going with the best rated from ZDnet, I choose the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000. I have been using a Logitech Fusion for well over a year and the Pro 9000 puts it to shame. Logitech really does have all the rest beat. Easy to set up and use. No problems.

I use the 9000 Pro on the CRT of my desktop computer. The hinged portion of the webcam sits flat on the top surface of the monitor. It's weight is enough to keep it from moving and the portion in which the camera is mounted is also hinged so the camera can be angled up and down as necessary. It was easy to install and I use it with AOL. The resolution is good and the auto exposure works great. Based on my experience, I'd recommend this webcam.

This webcam is my first, but I made the right choice. Everyone that has viewed me with this has commented on what a clear, fast picture they receive and want to know what kind of webcam it is. Very easy to install and works GREAT with SKYPE. I would recommend this webcam to all.

The best camera on the market. Everyone is telling me that my webcam is extremly clear. Takes photos, video. Has software that transforms your image into sharks, funny faces, etc. My kids love it. It's the best camera I've ever had.

I really like the Logitech Pro 9000 webcam. It has good video with automatic face tracking plus good focus in lots of different lighting conditions. It took awhile to get it working though. During the software install everything seemed fine until right at the end. The realtime video showed up right at the end of the install but when actually runing the program there was no video at the lowest resolution. All the higher resolutions were fine. Tech support kept saying to reinstall, update drivers, etc. These were all the standard answers that I told them I had already done so it wasn't much help. Finally about a week after my initial install there was a software update that fixed the problem.

This was my first Web Cam, setup was easy and using AIM I was up and enjoying talking to my daughter at college in no time. I was so pleased I purchased another so I can talk and see my wife in the same house just for fun. Pictures are sharp and clear. No problems.

Great image quality, but the "Universal monitor clip" is very poorly designed -- it doesn't actually "clip" to the monitor -- it sort of just sits on top of it. I still highly recommend this webcam because of excellent image quality. But the "Universal monitor clip" really needed to be engineered much better so that it would stay put.

I purchased this Pro9000 to replace my Pro5000. After I replaced the WebCam the other side was wondering what made your camera clearer today. Camera is good, very clear. Microphone is excellent, extreamly clear and sensitive. The only problem are: 1. once a while camera locks. This looks like a software issue. 2. video is a little saturated. This requires some adjustment and may take time. I'm currently using auto white balance. Overall, excellent WebCam at reasonable price. It is about $40 after rebate.

Comparatively speaking, the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 is the best webcam I have found, in this price range. Its overall performance exceeds the performance of most more expensive webcams.

After reading tech specs and customer reviews, I decided to purchase the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000. I'm sure glad I did as it performs beyond my expectations. I had seen some of the built in cams that come with many computers today and they are just OK. This one is far superior, in picture quality, color resolution, and, it can almost see in the dark. I was very pleased with the ease of setup as it worked the first time right out of the box. It is easy to zoom, move up or down and right to left enabling a wide range of views. I think anyone interested in a webcam would be equally satisfied with this superior unit. I would do it all over again. And as usual, buy.com's service was excellent.

excellent products. works well on computer and laptop. easy to install on vista. bought one for a friend whom i see rarely. works well with the program from oovoo. would recommend it to anyone. my old webcam did not have the video or sound quality that his model has.

PROS: Excellent image quality, face tracking/centering, built-in microphone, adds light when needed CONS: My computer did not like the software (kept locking up the computer) and it took days for me to figure out where the conflict was (the firewall, of all things!); other than that, I'm still playing with it. OVERALL: I think $80 is a bit pricey but I was able to get it with a $20 mail-in-rebate, so at THAT price point it's a good deal!

The camera works fine. I'm not sure whether to be mad at Skype or Logitech for the fact that only three Logitech cameras work with Skype High Quality video. I already had another nice Logitech camera but had to buy the 9000 in order to use Skype HQ Video. Other than the redundant purchase requirement, I'm happy with the product.

good cam but requires installation of driver according to manual. Otherwise full power isn't coming out, i.e. HD performance. Also the way it mounts to the monitor is for a desktop, as Logitech has a cam that mounts with a clip. It still works on my notebook and I am happy with its performance!

Most if not all the auto features do not work on the 9000 pro, but none of the automatic features on any device you buy does. You need to use the manual features, and play around with them. If you get lost in an adjustment just start over with the default settings. Once you get the hang of it and proper lighting this camera is fantastic. Also, if you have Vista just plug in the device then use the download wizard for your software. That is what I do with all my devices, and I have never had a problem downlaoding software on Vista. Out!

This webcam is the best among the 3 Logitech ones that I have. The image is super clear even in low light. Of course, the price of this one is also the most expensive. But I think it still worths the money.
