Purchased to replace the Panasonic ER389 in which the non-user- replaceable battery failed. The Panasonic ER224RC uses a newer battery technology (which I hope will last longer than the older NI-Cad.) This newer unit is much bigger in comparison and does sport a pop-up trimmer, and a greater variety of trimming lengths. On the down side, the cutting depth needs to be readjusted each time the trimmer head is removed for cleaning. All in all, a good unit, but the ER389 was designed better for my needs, a moustache trimmer. Was this review helpful?

This is a nice rechargeable and cordless trimmer. It does what it suppose to do so. After all its from Panasonic so I believe it would run last long in terms of durability and blade. Manufacturer says blade will last long close to 3 years depending of uses. Packing was really good, easy to open and store, but a large box packed. The only problem I feel are its too heavy to hold and operate and cleaning takes a little time. Was this review helpful?
