This deal is great...if you are still using one of Sony's older cameras. I bought these chips thinking they would fit in my new Sony camera. They don't. Make sure to check and see whether the camera you are using uses "Memory Stick PRO" or "Memory Stick Duo"

I was very pleased with the memory cards I bought. They work perfectly in my Sony camera. Also, the service from buy.com is great. I wanted a 2gb stick but there was no way I could pass on this deal. All 4 sticks worked fine in my Cybershot DSC-P100. None of them worked in my old Sony but even my existing 256mb non pro stick would work in it, it's just too old. These sticks perform slightly slower than my 128mb MS pro but barely noticable.

I am using these memory sticks in my Sony DSC-F717 camera, and other than the larger capacity (than the previous, 128MB sticks), their use is entirely transparent - nothing to do but plug 'em in and start shooting. Now I run out of battery power long before I run out of storage capacity! The size is so great (for my application, most pics are ~2MB) that I haven't even tried all 4 sticks, just 2 of them. And, there were actually 5 sticks in my package - looks like two were stuck together in the packing process, so I got an extra as a freebie.

This was a very good deal! The only problem is that the Memory sticks dont look as they are pictured. They are black with white letters and dont say Professional. This would have helped as I returned the first set of sticks I ordered, placed another order only to receive the same items. I looked up the numbers on the back of the sticks on google and found that they are in fact the Professional version.

They worked right out of the plastic for me just like any other memory stick. You don't get pretty packaging but that's what you paid for! And for the price, it's pretty much a steal. Just make sure it works for your camera, though.

I paid $70 for a 256mb chip about 3 years ago when I purchased my Sony DSC-W1 5.1mp camera. These chips work great in this camera and hold 200+ full resolution pix. Unbelievable deal. I plan on using a couple for digital photo frames, also. I cannot vouch for how they work in newer cameras.

Now matter how you look at it, this deal is hard to beat. I only use these memory sticks for transferring data between my Sony laptop and my HP desktop with a card reader, but they are handy and for the price, they are a great deal. They satisfy my needs perfectly. I am a VERY satisfied Buy.com customer!

I purchased these memory sticks for my Sony camera and they work great. The only problem I have is that only two out of four sticks can be read by a card reader. I order to transfer the pictures from my camera to the computer I have to connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable. This is a minor problem because the camera and the computer are always with me.

Buy.com has always been one of my favorite on-line places to shop, and usually is the first place I look for technological things, although they sell almost everything. Getting four 512mb memory stick pros for $13 is unbelievable! As we all know, Lexar makes great memory products, and it was not that long ago that I paid $50 for ONE 512mb memory stick pro, and now I'm getting them for $3.25!! With an 8 megapixel camera, I can take many hundreds, if not thousands, of pictures on these sticks!

It's amazing how I've drastically improved the memory for my camera for under $15. These memory sticks function just as well as the original Sony memory sticks I bought for my camera. However, these cost a fraction of the price. Having these has dramatically affected how I take pictures. I take tons more, so I wind up with a wider array of wonderful pictures to choose from and I am much more willing to take short video clips since I know I have much more memory to play with. I have only been using these memory sticks for a couple of weeks, so I can't vouch for their longevity. However, even if these memory sticks were to fail me tomorrow, I feel that so far I have definitely gotten my money's worth and highly recommend these for anyone looking to purchase camera memory at an affordable price.

This memory tech is a bit dated since everything uses memory stick DUO now, but if you still have devices that use these, you won't find a better deal anywhere else.

This was great deal, any customer who is looking for higher megapixel Sony digital camera deals, would need to buy the memory card and in any case 2 gb card would cost you more or less same price. But here you get 512 mb x 4 which you can use inter-changeably for diff occasions... can serve multi purpose!

These memory sticks will not work in older digital cameras like mine (Sony Cyber-Shot, model DSC-P9) even though they will physically fit the camera. The 100% camera compatability is not true. This is not mentioned in the sales add. You cannot return them to Buy.com. You cannot get your money back! Here is there return policy: Due to manufacturers' policies, Buy.com cannot accept returns on this item for any reason. The manufacturer will handle all exchanges and replacements. Please contact the manufacturer directly and they will assist you with repair or replacements. NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS PRODUCT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Couldn't get cheaper than this! It's rather "old" technology but great if you have not-so-new digital camera that takes Memory Stick Pro. My Sony 4MP dig cam happily takes these sticks. They work great!

I use a Sony DSC F828 camera which allows the use of CF memory as well as the Memory Stick. I could not pass up the price of $14.99 for 4 of the Lexar sticks. I like the idea of smaller flash memory cards because if something goes wrong with the card, you have not lost that many photos.

I was leary at first wondering if they were clearing these out, the industry is slowly moving away from smaller memory cards for the two and four gig ones. I received these in record time and was amazed that they were the best quality for a high speed card. It is easy to recommend this source for purchases in your future.

Lots of value for small dollars. Toss a handful of these little guys in the camera bag and you're good to go! OEM packaging is a nice change from theft-proof commercial packaging that requires industrial tools to open. Product comes in individual anti-static envelopes. Quick ship and an overall easy transaction.

Work great, they're fast, and they are the maximim size for the firmware in my older Sony camera -- what more can you ask for? Compared to the $189/512k stick when I first purchased the camera, there's no way this buy can be beat for the performance.

Aside from the fact that this package is priced at a fraction of it's original cost, it's just a good deal. While it may not be as convenient as having a pair of 1GB or a single 2GB stick, it helps to be able to organize files. Did I mention that it's a fraction of the original cost?

Three year old Sony DSC-F828 with no problems ever. Put one of these in, took one picture. Went to take another and got a memory stick error. Took it out and put a sony one back in... memory stick error. 45 minutes with Sony support and still memory stick error. They said need to send it in to get fixed but I need the camera so have to switch to compact flash format instead since the Sony has both and because this Lexar fried the memory stick interface.

They work wonderfully in my Sony P200 digital camera and their write-times are exceptionally fast. ***Please Be Aware that the Buy.com Product Summary states that "Lexar's Professional Series 80X Memory Stick PRO cards... (includes)a free copy of the award-winning Image Rescue 2.0 image recovery software and a free trial version of Photo Mechanic image management software." No such software was included in my shipment, thus a rating of only "4" in overall satisfaction (which has nothing to do with the exceptional quality, speed and value of this deal)! Also note that these are bare bone Memory Stick cards, no plastic cases are included at this price point, so have a way to safely store them.
