Bought these to have my employees communicate while working. Haven't given me any major trouble. Sometimes it'll pick up static. Has a decent range. Charging station is very convenient and eliminates the need to buy batteries constantly. Was this review helpful?

I live in suburban New York City, and for whatever reason these radios only reach maybe a mile or two at best so far. Maybe I am missing something, but I am using the higher powered channels, and still the same result. So perhaps a misadvertisement. For local, around-the-house use, it's fine. I have used several radios over the years , but I have to till you that these are great! Used them all season for hunting with one in my jeep and my other in a freinds truck. The whole ride up we were able to stay in touch and in the woods it was even better.
Easy to handle light weight and clearity was amazing.
Battery life is great also They held a charge two whole days of being on without a break before I had to charge them.
Just make sure you charge the full Twelve Hours the first charge and then it took about two hours if that to fully charge again.
The headset and mic make it even easier to use.
