5 of 5 Excellent Mouse Saturday, August 15, 2009 Mason Z. from McKinney, TX
This is the best mouse I have ever used. It is so versatile with the on the fly dpi adjustments that I have been able to use it for everything, switching from browsing to shooters to MMOs with easy. Also has several configurable buttons that can be used well for macros. Best mouse for the price and in general the best mouse I could find even compared to the deathadder from razer. 5 of 5 better than the steel series mmo Monday, April 27, 2009 John from NH
Bought the Steel series mmo gaming mouse with a thirst for macro buttons, after 4 days I decided that it was far too clunky and in fact there were too many buttons. After reading a few reviews on the G5 (and given the price was so low) I picked it up and haven't looked back. It's incredibly smooth, the dpi settings are very helpful switching from games to normal use, I was initially concerned about the cord but it's so light I hardly notice. Also the customized gram weight cartridge system is a neat feature and gives a great feel to the overall package. For the price, performance and reliable brand I would pick this up again in a heartbeat. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 What more is there to say? Great Mouse Wednesday, April 01, 2009 A Gamer from Berkeley, CA
Picked this up after my MX510 finally went to mouse heaven. The middle click is a bit stiff and takes some getting used to, but if you have strong fingers or some patience, you'll love this thing. Really, really comfortable too. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Gaming Mouse Saturday, January 17, 2009 Larry Fravel from Shinnston, WV
The mouse is great for gaming. I use it for World of Warcraft as well as "normal" mouse use and it is the best I have ever used. The weighting options allow it to be set up for your own personal feel which makes it very easy to quickly select things in the game. It also has avery comfortable feel while in use. My hand does not tire out after several hours of play. The adjustable speeds make it a pleasure to use as well. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awsome mouse Monday, November 17, 2008 Chad from Black Creek, WI
I know have two G5 mouses (one for home and one for work), and they both are GREAT. The weights, and adjustable speeds is what sold me on this mouse. With two monitors the faster the mouse the less movement between the two screens which simplifies everything. I would highly recommend it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Nice Mouse !! Feels better in your hand than a REA Monday, September 29, 2008 Uncle Dave from Freeport il.
Very well designed. Fits the hand well and I have big hands.
My only gripe is that the right / left toggle on the wheel is too sensitive. Very easy to hit it sideways by mistake. Otherwise, I think it's great. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Mouse Ever Monday, September 01, 2008 A Gamer from San Jose, CA
This has got to be the best mouse I have ever used. The texture of the mouse creates a perfect grip and the mouse fits comfortably in my hand. The mouse glides across any surface without any friction and the ability to change the weight of the mouse is really nice because you can change it to a weight that allows for you to move the mouse effortlessly. I never thought that I would need the on the fly sensitivity, but I was so wrong. You can have different sensitivities when playing games and on your desktop with the press of a button. Seriously if you are looking for a great gaming mouse you have to get this. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 G5 Laser - Nice product Wednesday, August 06, 2008 A Gamer from Green Lane, PA
Overall a good quality mouse. The only real complaint I would have is that the wheel is hard to push as a button. Everything else about it is great. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great mouse Tuesday, July 15, 2008 Joseph T from brooklyn, ny
bought it on sale and it was well worth it. very precise mouse, it was a big upgrade from a cheap dell mouse so it took much time to get used to it, especially for the fps games. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Awesome mouse. Tuesday, June 10, 2008 Chance from Chehalis, Wa
I bought this mouse on a whim because it had great reviews and it had a good price ($30). This mouse is amazing. It has a very cool cracked feel to it, I've never felt anything like this before. It has 9 buttons which is cool (Left click, right click, scroll wheel click, two left side buttons, the two sensitivity buttons and left and right buttons on the scroll wheel.) The weights come in a sweet tin case and changing them is a breeze. This mouse rules, please buy it. Was this review helpful?

On the fly sensitivity adjustment helps alot in games. You never think a mouse can make such a big impact on game play but it does! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Mouse Ever. Tuesday, May 20, 2008 Collin from Waynesboro, VA
This has to be the greatest mouse I've ever owned, and I have purchased quite a few. I started with a regular Microsoft laser mouse, then went on to a Logitech MX518, then eventually bought this beast. It has adjustable weights, on the fly sensitivity adjustment, 5+ mouse buttons, and it is smooth as anything.
I use it at 2000dpi constantly, my friends think I'm crazy but you get used to the high sensitivity quite quickly.
I would recommend this mouse to anyone, especially with this deal!

I had Microsoft intellimouse explorer for 5 years. Than I received this one as gift and in my opinion this is best mouse on the market. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Smoothest Mouse Ever Saturday, December 01, 2007 James from New York, NY
The buttons are very comfortable and have a very satisfying feeling when pressed. This is also by far the smoothest mouse I have ever handled, it glides across my FUNC Surface 1030 mouse pad beautifully (much better than my old Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0) and has had no tracking problems on any surface. The weight customization system is nice, it doesn't make a huge difference, but I did find I had a slight preference for certain weights than others.
I have pretty big hands and although I have read other reviews that say this mouse is a little too big, with the way I hold the mouse I have found that it is not quite big enough in the back-right corner to prevent my palm from dragging. This means I get very red skin on part of my palm after a long session of playing FPS-style games. It's not perfect, but I do really like this mouse and am glad I chose to go with it. 5 of 5 You gotta get this mouse Thursday, November 29, 2007 The Big Kahoona from Orange County, California
This is a great mouse.
Accurate and quick.
It takes a bit of getting use to.
But once you do it's a blast to use. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Absolute BEST Thursday, October 18, 2007 vonlogik from Birmingham, Alabama
I didn't think laser mice got any better than simply being laser... and I was wrong. The resolution makes a huge impact. being able to select resolutions on the fly also has a great deal of impact, even outside of the gaming world. Whenever I'm using Photoshop it helps to have more precise controls sometimes and this mouse delivers just that. The mouse has a great texture as well as a firm grip. If you're thinking about buying this mouse... stop thinking. =] Was this review helpful?

Just as advertised and spoken about all over: This is the best gaming mouse for a lot of users. unless you need more buttos, this is the one to get. What a dream to use. I was an old fan of Microsoft mice but this new Logitech is a great addition to my toolset
Highly recommended... just go and buy one! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Mouse Ever Wednesday, July 04, 2007 Brandon from Costa Mesa, CA
This is a great mouse. This is actually the G5 SE, even if the site doesn't say that. The original was only a 5 button, while this adds the second thumb button. What the original should have been. I love the color scheme, and the texture is very nice as well.

6 of 6 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 The G5 that should have been! Saturday, March 31, 2007 Slappy from Grand Rapids, MI
This new version of the G5 is everything the last mouse should have been.
1. A better textured grip
2. The 2nd side button (duh, why did they ditch it on the original?)
3. 1000mhz polling rate makes movement super smooth
4. Comes with the updated firmware allowing the mouse to track on pretty much all surfaces (ie the func hard which had issues before)
5. Minor tweaks to the weight coloring
6. A easier to press mouse 3 (scroll wheel button)
7. The mouse wheel is much smoother than before.
Its top notch and I would recommend it to anyone.
