    This lens is a great companion to the 18-55mm kit lens. The weight factor is just right, not much more than the kit lens. I have got to thank Gigabargain.com for their extremely fast shipping, nice packaging, super price and supplying the lens as advertised, new. Would liked to have had the VR lens, but for this price I'll use my tripod for those long shots. Image quality is excellent at all focal lengths. This is primarily an outside lens in decent light. I recommend to all those who are using the D40 or D60.
