    5 of 5 Wireless Keyboard - Great Tool Thursday, July 30, 2009
    Shelley from WI

Another computer teacher recommended this product to me. I teach computer software to students of ages 5 - 14. I love being able to be "free" to walk around but still use the computer during the lesson. Before, I HAD to stay by the computer to show the students material. This caused a problem because some students like to "wander" into other areas on the computer. Now, I can walk around and continue with the lesson w/out going back and forth from machine to students. Saves me the hassel & I can keep an "eye" on the students. It takes a little bit getting use to the set up of the keyboard (no seperate numeric keypad - the keypad is located on the right side of the alpha keys & some buttons are in different areas) but not much. Love the "handles" on the backside of the keyboard for holding on to the keyboard. The roller balls work wonderful...quick and smooth. The only downside I have is that my eyessight....I need to enlarge / zoom in to see the projected screen and that can be a hassel to see things from the back of the room. Connecting the keyboard with the computer is not problem at all. Great product.

4 of 5 Works ok, would recommend Sunday, May 31, 2009
    master p from clinton ia
I bought one of these and loved it. Then I spilt my beer on it and had to buy another. The new one has a trackball that feels somewhat loose, but it still works well most of the time. Its great having the wireless mouse & keyboard all-in-one. I've found that the keyboard has to be at the perfect angle to send the signal to the dongle (thats why I'm not giving it a 5). Can be a bit tricky to set up on an older computer.

4 of 5 Four out of Five Wednesday, March 11, 2009
    A Customer from Shrewsbury, VT
Basically it functions as advertised. It does take more typing pressure than the average keyboard - which is a bit of a pain. Once in a while it acts as if a key is being held down and I have to reset it. It seems to happen mostly when I'm using Remote Desktop so I don't know if its some weird conflict there. The range is excellent - you can be quite far away and it works perfectly. The trackball works well but there is only a 'left-click' button on that side so you can't use it one-handed as a full mouse. You'll realize just how much you've relied on 'right-clicking' (I don't know how Mac users live without it...) Media and quick launch buttons are great once I remember to use them :)

    5 of 5 Excellent Keyboard Tuesday, February 17, 2009
    JOE from Waynesboro VA
This keyboard is great. The battery life is very good and it never misses a keystroke. I use it in my home theater so I really appreciate the ergonomic design. This makes computing quite comfortable from a sofa. I'm not sure why the numlock issue occurs for a lot of people, but I've not had any issue with that at all running XP Pro on an IBM Lenovo Netvista desktop. I would highly recommend this product to others.

    4 of 5 Works great, but touch-typers beware Saturday, February 07, 2009
    A Customer from Renton ,WA
Overall, I'm very happy with the keyboard. The form factor is perfect for my HTPC setup. The range is good. However, if you're a touch-typer, like me, get used to the heavier pressure required when typing. I think this will work great for hunt-and-peck typers, though. I also agree with another reviewer regarding the issues with NUMLOCK always on at start-up. My bios doesn't have the option to turn it off, and even though there is a registry hack to turn it off after login, that doesn't solve the issue with NUMLOCK on at the login screen. Finally, not being able to wake up the keyboard with the trackball was a little oddity to get used to.

5 of 5 Works Great. No issues at all Thursday, November 20, 2008
    Bob from Newark, Ohio
We now own 2 of these keyboard/mouse. This thing works great. We use computers to watch TV and this allows us to sit on the couch and not be wired to the computer. I do have the same issue with the numlock on this keyboard, but don't have it with my older one. Must be a setting that can be changed, just have not taken the time to find out.

5 of 5 Great product for HTPC Tuesday, November 04, 2008
    Kalai from Piscataway, NJ
Excellent keyboard and a must for HTPC. Range is great. Glad that I bought it. One minor issue is the NUM lock getting on whenever we restart the PC like other person mentioned. Each time we need to switch off before start entering the password.

5 of 5 Great wireless keyboard for HTPC ! Saturday, November 01, 2008
    Arthur G. from Roswell,Ga
Great wireless keyboard ! You do not need line of sight. I can control my HTPC from the bed and never need my remote. It is a little heavier than my previous model but is great anyway. I love the trackball. I would highly recommend it.

5 of 5 Great Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combination Thursday, October 23, 2008
    SWP from Houston, Texas
This keyboard/mouse combination is great. The installation was very easy. This has radio signal instead of infrared so no line of sight is needed. I have walked all over my house and the signal still reaches the computer. Great value for the money. This product is light years ahead of Microsoft's product. With their product you have to be 3 feet from the receiver for it to pick up the signal from the keyboard.

3 of 5 Works fine but too heavy Wednesday, April 30, 2008
    Allison from Dallas TX
I replaced my much loved but worn out touch pad adesso with this thinking it would be more ergonomic. Well, sorta. When it's on your lap working on it, it's fine. The problem is that it's so heavy that it hurts my wrist trying to move it with one hand. So if you get up alot like do - coffee table to lap to coffee table, you might prefer something lighter like the touchpad version. I do like it better than the flakey Belkin media pilot.

    5 of 5 Couch Surfing Wednesday, December 12, 2007
    Robert from Plainview, TX
I took an old Pentium III computer running Windows 2000 Professional, hooked it to a flat panel LCD TV, and purchased this keyboard just to see if I could sit on the couch and surf the internet. Sure enough, the thing worked right out of the box with no setup required. The only thing I had to do was change the screen resolution so I could see web pages from across the room. The keyboard now sits beside the remote control.

5 of 5 Love This keyboard Monday, December 03, 2007
    Rose from RI
I hooked a pc up to my tv and needed a nice keyboard without having a mouse too. This one has a trackball and left click on one side and right and left click on the other along with a scrolling wheel. It is plug and play and very easy for this grandma to use. I searched for days for just the right one and happily found this one. I can't use touch pads so the trackball on it is great. A good price too!!

    5 of 5 Best wireless keyboard I've used Friday, November 30, 2007
    Erik from San Diego, CA
I've used several wireless keyboards for both business and at home and the Adesso is by far the best. My latest use for it is in my living room where I have a PC connected to my 47" LCD. I can use the keyboard without any problems from 15 feet away on my sofa (yes, I need bigger TV since using a 47" display at that distance is a bit tough). The only minor issue I have is that the cursor speed is much faster on this keyboard than the cursor speed on the PC (Dell Inspiron touch pad) so if I adjust the cursor speed to be correct for the keyboard, it's pretty slow if I walk up to the PC and use it directly.

    5 of 5 Excellent! Just what I needed. Wednesday, April 18, 2007
    Rob from Pleasantville, NY
I needed to find a wireless keyboard for my BeyondTV PC. Most of the time I use my Harmony 880 universal remote to access BeyondTV. However, once in a while I need to get to the underlying PC functions. Previously I had to gently extricate the PC keyboard and mouse from behind the TV, stretch the cables as far as possible, crane my neck and then fiddle with the PC. This keyboard is exactly what I needed. It works great from my sofa ... about 15 feet away. It works just as well as a wired keyboard and with the built in trackball, it's nice and compact. There is a dongle that plugs into a spare USB port that provides the communication with the PC. Setup was very easy. One minor thing; everytime you use the KB, you need to push a button on the dongle, a flashing light appears and then you have to push a connect button on the keyboard. I don't use the keyboard everyday so this is not a problem for me. Also, it takes 4 AA batteries and I don't know how long they will last.
