Great value given the capacity and features. Serial port (in addition to the USB) for signaling was a deal maker feature. Vertical orientation of the unit is a great floor space saver. LCD provides lots of useful information. Included PowerPanel software provides all the functionality and information needed to manage the UPS on a home PC. Having the outlets in the back of the unit allows for neater cable management, but does make it a little inconvenient if you need occasional access to one of the outlets. This is the fifth CyberPower UPS I have owned, and I have been happy with all of them. Was this review helpful?

This is my 3rd CyberPower UPS and once again, it is perfect. I actually bought this one to replace a different one (CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD 1000VA 600 Watt) that went to my other PC. In comparison to my previous UPS, this one is much thinner and stands taller. At first I was skeptical of that size change, but I actually like the new one much better. The only CON compared to the other UPS is the fact that this one has 1 less battery powered outlet.
Enough power to run my AMD Phenom II X4 powered board in Antec 900 case with 2 internal and 1 (2 RAIDed drives) external HDD, and a 24 inch Acer monitor for about 14 minutes. Windows 7 recognizes the UPS without any problems. Front LCD gives all the information you'll ever need at a press of a button and turns off pretty quickly, so it isn't annoying. The UPS is completely silent, it's design is very simple and elegant that you'll never notice it's there and if you will, it will only add to the interior. Was this review helpful?

This is quite a value (at least the price I got $100) has a readout of all information you would want and has worked flawlessly for the time I have had it. I would definitely buy this model again when needed. Only complaint is I haven't figured out a way to make the readout stay on, it turns off by default after a minute or so, would be nice if you could have it stay on. Was this review helpful?
