The CyberPower 1010HT Home Theater Surge Suppressor is a high performance audio/video (A/V) surge protector offering 4200 Joules of protection and 10 transformer-friendly outlets with full metal oxide varistor (MOV) protection. The 1010HT also features CyberPower's exclusive Signal Scrubber™ line conditioning technology, which independently filters A/V signals and delivers the truest media experience for high-end A/V enthusiasts.
The RJ11 ports protect phone/fax/modem/DSL equipment and the RJ45 ports protect network connected equipment, such as: computers, hubs, and routers. Three (3) RG-6 gold-plated coax ports guard cable modems, cable TV lines, and DSS equipment.
All 10 outlets are widely-spaced to allow for the connection of bulky DC transformers that are found on many popular electronic devices. Electro-magnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) filtering blocks disruptive electro-magnetic and radio interferences from entering your equipment. The metal oxide varistor MOV technology ensures the protection of all connected electronics and the surge suppressor itself.

5 of 5 Cyberpower Surge Suppression Strip 5/4/2010

I ordered two of these strips while they were on sale here at Buy.com. The surge suppression strips I used prior to this purchase were inadequate because they only had 8 outlets and they were arranged too closely to one another for larger or oblong plugs to fit next to each each other.
This product arrived quickly and has worked flawlessly. The outlets are arranged at a 30degree angle up from the floor so keep in mind that this strip may not fit into a really snug area behind a wall unit or computer desk. With cords plugged into both sides of the strip, it requires approximately 7" or 8" of floor space in width.

The key benefit of this fine Cyberpower surge-protector is that it can filter/protect up to three separate cable or satellite inputs. My hi-def DISH system uses two different dishes for all the HD and local channels I want. Most surge protectors and UPS's only have connections for one cable/satellite input. Also has plenty of widely-spaced power sockets for all the gadgets in my home theater setup, plus phone and ethernet protection. Got this at a really great price ($39.99) with free shipping, and it was delivered right on time. I'm happy!

I first bought a Monster surge protector that died and made noise in 4 months and didnt work again. Cyberpower is the best. No problems, works great, had a surge a month later and it did its job and no harm came to my equipment. I would never get any other brand.
