I wish in the description of this software that it would have stated that it will only work until the end of 2007 upon which it stops functioning or you MUST buy an upgrade (as I found out in the user manual). Other Intuit products continue to work beyond the end of the calendar year. Sure, they can't guarantee the accuracy of your legal documents after that date (so fine - state that) but the books from Nolo don't stop 'working' after a certain date. Otherwise, this software is well worth the money though I wished I had bought it when it first came out and not now with less than six-months life left in it! No wonder they have the rebate! Willmaker is very easy to use. With one CD and a few minutes to install I was able to write my will within 15 minutes. It is not the most computer friendly in maneuvering through but once you find the right area you need it walks you through each step. Not only was I able to write my will but it has several other documents that might be helpful in life such as a bill of sale, promissory notes, living wills, child care agreements and on and on. I own this software and it's predecessor, and it is very comprehensive, especially for the price. Fantastic value.
I will say I got mine on Amazon for about the same cost, and the bonus is that deal included the companion 540 page paper book at no extra cost.
There should also be a mention that this is a windows only program. It will not run on a Mac. Was this review helpful?
