4 of 5 great way to display and charge Tuesday, February 03, 2009 Rog from Colorado
almost acts as a night light with a fairly bright bluish glow. Unfortunately, the glow is continuous whether the DS is docked or not. otherwise, works great and very easy to insert and remove DS. In the long run, it will probably end up saving wear and tear on the charging port of the DS. It will ensure that the kids always have the charging jack inserted straightaway.
as others have stated, I also was hoping that it would come with its own charger, but that wouldn't make sense at this price point. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 very cool, but wow, IT'S BRIGHT ! Thursday, October 09, 2008 Roger from Broomfield, Colorado
cool device. Kids think it looks really neat and it makes it super easy to plug in for charging. Remember, this does not come with an AC adapter. You just plug in your current AC adapter into the back. I don't think the kids mind it (12 and 8) but as a parent I thought these things were extremely bright at night and light up the entire room with a blue glow. The lights stay on whether the DS is plugged in or not.
I think it would have been a much better design to only have the lights come on when the DS is plugged in. Anyway, the kids think they're cool and for under eight dollars including shipping, why not. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Recharging Glow Dock for DS Friday, October 03, 2008 A Gamer from Arlington, Texas
I was a little disapointed that the charging station did not come with it's own power supply and uses the power supply that is provided with the orginal DS lite. Otherwise the charger works fine. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 No Cord Friday, October 03, 2008 A Gamer from Woodville, OH
My daughter loves it. However, I thought that it would come with a cord which is the main reason I bought it as our dog chewed her original cord. So I had to go out and get a power cord to go with this docking station. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 You better like blue neon... Thursday, October 02, 2008 Steve from Brea, CA
This item is just a "seat" for your DS and doesn't come with it's own charger cable. You have to use the one that came with your DS. The bright blue neon light is on ALL the time and doesn't change with the charging levels of the DS. The seat itself works ok but it would've been better if they had some guides on the sides to allow you to plug the DS in without having to aim just right to get their plug in. The eject button is nice but rather pointless as it's easier to just pull the DS itself out. Was this review helpful?
