4 of 5 Big Kid Mobile Saturday, December 06, 2008 April from New York
We bought this mobile for my son's new "outer space" room. It is very cool. The sun lights up and the planets revolve on two levels. I like that he can name the planets. He likes having a big kid mobile/nightlight for his room. The only downside is that the motor is a little loud. Was this review helpful?

Unique product that is easy to install and fun to use for ages 5 to adult. Kids and grown-ups think it's "way cool." We two adults have it on our bedroom ceiling and run it usually at bedtime. When we have guests, especially the kids, they love to make the planets orbit the sun. Our two c*ckatiels, however, are having a difficult time adjusting to the movement (they have a daytime play area in the bedroom). Morale of story: great for people; disturbing to flying critters Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 AWESOME!!!!! Saturday, December 06, 2008 mom from usa
GREAT PRODUCT! Yes motor is there...and you can tell...but you won't believe what your kids are going to learn! The cd is very nicely put together with interesting facts. The 15min timer is awesome for little tired eyes...and the remote to turn it on is fantastic...my 1yr old uses it! We're impressed with this product to say the least. The price is great! Especially since other solar systems that do not go above your head and move sell for at least 30.00! Your kids will enjoy showing it off to their friends...and they will be able to name all the planets in no time! Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 good visual product Saturday, December 06, 2008 Alan from midwest
Wish..... motor turned planets slower & motor was quieter Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good solar system Saturday, December 06, 2008 Bhree from Anchorage, Alaska
This was pretty easy to put together and has great movement. The wires bend easily and the planets get lost easily if left out anywhere too long. I recommend putting it together and mounting it on the ceiling straight away. Once it's up - it's a real treat and a great way to introduce/study the solar system. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 My 41 year old (other half) was delighted! Saturday, December 06, 2008 Lucy from Palmer, Alaska
2 to 40+ year olds. This item is for those who go out of their way record Battle Star Galactica and Star Trek. Plus, it's for the new generation of budding astronomers. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 My 5-year old loves it. Saturday, December 06, 2008 Tammy from NJ
Other than the fact that it is a bit noisey, it is a great mobile. My daughter puts it on every night at bedtime. Good buy- I'd recommend it to anyone with a child interested in the solar system. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Very nice planet mobile Saturday, December 06, 2008 Kellie from Las Vegas, Nevada
Our boys really like it. Very educational. We really like the rotating action, but the motor is quite noisy. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good solar system mobile Saturday, December 06, 2008 Mom from CA
We are happy with this item. The motor, indeed, makes some noise, but we read about that in other reviews and were not too concerned. The planets are plastic spheres and the decal of the planet's topography is not visible on the very bottom. Since this item is viewed by looking up...it would have been nice if the decals extended to cover the full bottom. Does that make sense? We wish the light on the remote was stronger...but really, who cares about that. The CD is very good. We all learned something from it about the solar system. A scientific explanation of the solar system's coming into being; not for Creationists! I looked at everything in this genre before picking an item. We are satisfied with the choice. 4 of 5 3 1/2 year old is transfixed with mobile Saturday, December 06, 2008 Deb from Queen City
Great mobile! Might be nice if the "sun" was a bit brighter, but perfect for nighttime viewing. Worked perfectly in our solar system themed room - highly recommend this item! Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Not as Good as expected Saturday, December 06, 2008 Arash from Urbana, IL
I was hoping the each planet orbits with a different speed relative to other planets. But there are only two rings that rotate them. For instance, Earth and Jupiter always have the same position relative to each other. Other than that, the design looks cool and the installation is relatively easy. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Our son loves this! Saturday, December 06, 2008 Kelly from El Cerrito, CA
'Santa' brought this for our 6 year old son who is really into anything to do w/the solar system. It was very simple to put together & install on our ceiling. Since there is no overhead ceiling light in is room, this does double duty for him & puts out quite a bit of light. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Our 6 year old grandson enjoys the solar system Saturday, December 06, 2008 Connie from Freeport Illinois
Our grandson has ADD and gives a good calming effect at bedtime. His little sister at the age of 3 loves to operate it and also enjoys the solar system Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 10-year old likes going to sleep with it Saturday, December 06, 2008 sandy from az
my only rub is that the planets rotate in groups, not really representing accurate orbits. oh well, that would probably cost more. it is a little bit noisy to me, also but by son doesnt mind. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Good educational toy. Saturday, December 06, 2008 Joanna from Utah
Good educational toy. The quality is okay, sometimes the planets bump into each other as the mobile moves. The motor is annoyingly loud. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Suitable for children any age. Saturday, December 06, 2008 Elena from Cornelius, NC
This toy is educational. However, I think it is a great room decor for children any age. It is very colorful, so my little baby nephew (1 y.o.) loves looking at it (just make sure you don't use a very bright light bulb). It is a toy he will grow with and learn from in the future, when he is old enough. Was this review helpful?
