5 of 5 Great sound from stylish unit Tuesday, January 01, 2008 Dan from Detroit, MI
I like the modern design and the overall size is pretty good for the large amount of sound that is achieved by the flat panel. I own other ribbon speaker systems and this one is just as good. The only complaint is that the iPod cradle pieces that are interchangeable depending on if you're using an iPod classic or Nano do not seat very well in the unit. Thus the iPod doesn't sit very firmly in the dock. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 GREAT SOUND Wednesday, December 13, 2006 Quinn from Brownsville, PA
I was really surprised how great this thing sounds!! The bass is almost too much, but, just use the bass reducer EQ on the iPod and it sounds MUCH BETTER!! Fills the room with sound, really does. Great value and fast shipping. Ordered on Sat night and was here Tues Morning via FedEx Ground. Trust me here, there is NO competition for this system in this price range!! BUY IT, it feels solid and sounds spectacular, can't go wrong with this one everyone, enjoy :) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice Speaker! Tuesday, December 05, 2006 JT from Michigan
Got this for my office. It is sleek, stylish, and even better... it sounds great! The base isn't bad either as it is bidirectional. It is simple. Just place your ipod in the dock and power on. Amazing how loud this thing can go. I had it blasting out onto my back deck from the kitchen. The google checkout made this speaker even sweeter! You can plug a ipodmini using a dual male speaker jack into the back as well. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Kensington SX2000 for iPod Saturday, October 28, 2006 A Customer from San Francisco
It is so much better than I expected. I have a iPod Nano myself and it fits perfectly. The only small problem i have with is the power button. The button is not design very well. I need to double check if I had it power off. I need to be very careful becuase the button is too sensitive. But over all, I like it very much. It is worth buying this speaker. 5 of 5 Great speaker Tuesday, September 19, 2006 A Customer from Stamford, CT
Wonderful sound, and suprisingly loud. I have a ledge that is chest high that separates the kitchen from the family room and this speaker is perfect there. I can here it in both rooms and it looks great. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great for office Tuesday, September 19, 2006 A Customer from Albany, NY
I'm using the Kensington speakers for my office, and they are perfect for that use. The unit takes up very little space, it's extremely easy to use, it charges my i-pod as it plays, and the sound quality is very good. Was this review helpful?

The sound out of this unit is fantastic. I did research on other sites before purchasing, and found nothing but good reviews. Those reviews are entire borne out by my own experience. I would recommend this product to anyone. It looks good, the sound is full and true, and sounds good at all volume levels.
Only one complaint: I have a 40GB Gen 3 iPod, and the included dock adapters don't fit it, so it's stuck standing up solely by the dock connector. If this was a nano, I wouldn't worry, but the weight of the 40GB iPod motivated me to find some fix to support it. If I had a 20GB, it would fit just fine. Was this review helpful?

I own a few flat panel speaker products for PC/Home Theater and the sound has always been great. This product is very much worth the price. You get loud sound with little or no distortion (depending on music), which is what I wanted from a compact system.
On the other hand it handles classical music at very low volume levels very well (sound stays nice and clear). The other great thing about flat panel technology is that when properly placed in a room the sound gets projected well in all directions, thus filling the room better than a standard speaker system.
Another nice thing about this particular unit is that it is not very deep, dimensionally, thus it can fit on a small shelf and takes up very little room. Don't buy one of those docking speaker sets with small 1" speakers because the sound will be dissappointing. I know because I've purchased a couple in the past and all had poor sound quality (no bass and bright tones). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Buy Tuesday, September 12, 2006 A Customer from Kenosha WI
I love my speakers, and I use them everyday. The sound is great. If you don't want to spend money on Bose, these are a great alternative. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome Product Monday, September 11, 2006 Mike from Madison, NJ
I am shocked at how good this unit sounds, especially for the price. I have the unit in the middle of my room and it truly does provide sound from the front and back. For those of you using a Nano, make sure to hold on to the adapter that was shipped with your ipod. You can also use it as an alarm clock, simply by using the alarm settings in your ipod.
I get 10x more use out of my ipod now that I have this, mostly because you just drop your ipod in the slot and press play. Was this review helpful?

I love this thing! For a funky, flat-looking speaker, it really cranks out the sound, and I'm really surprised at how good the bass sounds...the whole sound is pretty rich & deep.
I use this in my home-office and also move it to my kitchen (it's easy to move around), and it totally fills the room with sound. The sound comes out both the front & back of the speaker, which makes it perfect for where I have it.
And it doesn't hurt that I got this thing at a killer price on buy.com! If you have an iPod (and who doesn't?), you can't go wrong with this speaker. Was this review helpful?
