5 of 5 Great little flash drive Tuesday, August 12, 2008 A Customer from Santa Rosa CA
I wanted to have an inexpensive flash drive so I can share photos with friends and not worry about getting the flash drive back. Great product. Small size. Enough memory for my needs. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 So easy even a beginner can use it. Monday, August 11, 2008 Mgough from El Dorado Springs, MO
Very easy just plug it into the computer and when the drive comes up click on it. Drag what you want by right clicking and holding and releasing when you get over the drive.
Stores lots or documents or pictures. Make more room on the computer.
I love it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Best value Tuesday, July 29, 2008 george997 from Westmont, NJ
I was somewhat skeptical when I saw the price for this item since it was far below the average. But when I received the mechandise I was very impressed that it was the proessional item I was familiar with. The shipping cost was another big incentive.
Exceeed my expectation. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 this is a great product. Monday, July 21, 2008 Cristi from Columbia, MO
I love the storage of this thing. I have been using it for the past two years of my doctoral program and I have been really impressed with the amount of space it holds. It is easy to use and has been very reliable.
The only thing I wish is that it came with a cord for you to carry it around on your neck otherwise excellent product and great price! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 what a deal! Friday, July 18, 2008 A Customer from Carbondale, Illinois
excellent value! You can't beat the price, and they are the perfect size. My kids have to have these for school now, since no one really uses disks much anymore. They are required for just about every class that does work on a computer. The 1 GB is big enough to hold homework and small essays for transport between home and school. They are the perfect size to fit in your pocket, purse or backpack. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 No lid issues Monday, July 07, 2008 Melanie from Bemidji, MN
I haven't yet actually used this yet, but I still think I have two cents worth to put in. The price was amazing, but one thing that gave me pause was several reviews I read about how hard it is to get the lid off. The day I got it, I opened up the package and immediately wanted to check out the lid issue. I almost laughed out loud. I have no idea what those people were talking about. There is no trouble at all getting the lid off and on. It's not too tight at all. It's also not loose. It's perfect. Unless they improved the lid since those people wrote those reviews, I really can't imagine what on earth they're talking about. The lid is just fine!!! Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Inexpensive Drive, but definitely not the best Monday, July 07, 2008 V. Gera from New York City, NY
The drive is inexpensive and installs easily, but I began encountering problems from the first time I used it. It writes data very slowly compared to my other flash drives and it has jammed on me more than once. It will be great if you don't care about the performance of the drive, but I am not a patient man. 5 of 5 Takes a beating... Monday, July 07, 2008 A Customer from Rochester, NY
This is one of the best flash drives for the price. This went through the washer and dryer after I mistakenly left it in my pocket. It's still working and all my data is intact.
Not too many tech products can withstand a washer and dryer cycle and still work with no data issues.

4 of 5 Very happy Wednesday, July 02, 2008 Kenny from Killen, Alabama
Great price! The only complaint is I have to shut my computer down to 'safely' remove the device sometime. I am not sure this is a problem with the Kingston Data Traveler or my OS. Was this review helpful?

The Kingston flash drive is asy to use nad provides space for large amounts of data. I use mine to keep my complete medical information so that it can be viewed by any doctor that may not
have knowledge of your medical status. Should an emergency arise
it would save time for the doctor to learn about your medical information. My only complaint was that it was advertised as "Free Shipping" yet I was chagred for shipping and handling.

4 of 5 Small & Compact Sunday, July 09, 2006 A Customer from Morgantown,WV
The flash drive is very small & compact and from a trusted name in Memory modules.Great speed at data transfer and pretty rugged design too. My only snag is that the cap for the flash drive is a little difficult to get off and is quite difficult to grip too. Other than that i have no complaints with it. Was this review helpful?

I wanted a large-capacity high-value flash drive that I could use with my 98SE system as well as my XP Pro systems at work and home. The first driver I downloaded from Kingston for the 98SE didn't work, as they warned that it might not on the site. However, the second driver worked just fine. Problem: This involved trying to read the microscopic number on the side of the drive.
With the XP Pro systems, the drive is quite fast. While the construction is plastic, it seems reasonably robust. I would recommend this drive, especially at these prices. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 A great buy at a great price Wednesday, June 14, 2006 A Customer from Flint, MI

3 of 5 hard to remove top! Wednesday, June 07, 2006 mak99 from seattle, wa
while any 1GB/USB 2.0 is handy, this specific one has a lousy design regarding the protective cap. as there's no grip and it snaps on tight, it's kinda hard to remove the cap from the main unit. however, the main unit DOES have rubberized ends, so that works perfectly. just wish they would have applied the same logic to the smaller-than-normal cap... Nothing negative to say about this little USB drive. It's a little smaller than most drives and fits into even the most crowded USB port with ease. Even a nice little place to store the cap when it's being used. Very highly recommend this drive. JC Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 REALLY NICE solid drive Tuesday, May 23, 2006 Rick Freeman from Los Angeles, CA
The issue with these things is how solidly they are built, and this is a very nice one. Smaller than I expected, so it seems like it would fit into any USB slot (some of them have a problem with the outside case interfering). Was this review helpful?

I keep on seeing co-workers and colleagues walking around with these little devices and plugging them into any computer to access documents/pics/music. I got curious enough to buy it and I'm thrilled, in a few seconds I've saved all of my digital library into the 1GB Kingston drive and have tons of more room, now I can take my pictures anywhere without having to take my laptop. Having critical documents and my music/pics at my fingertips while traveling oversees will be comforting. Was this review helpful?

Excellent product, however, the "keyring" they provide is very weak and will break. I do not recommend using it, but recommend spending 50 cents buying one at your local hardware store.
I do have some concerns about the keyring going through the plastic loop at the top which could break, but so far so good. Fairly sturdy. Was this review helpful?

Bought this 512 MB Kingston stick about a month ago... Nice little memory stick for the price! I use mine between Mac and PC and it's flawless. Wish the little blinking light showed through on both sides as it seems it's always facing away from me no matter what USB port I plug it into. Oh well. I just like seeing blinking lights...
