I bought TDK because the 100-pack was on sale. I use 3 to 5 disks per week and have had no problems recording with either an HP desktop(8X) or Compaq laptop(2X) computer. I'll be back for more TDK next time, in about 6 months, I estimate. Was this review helpful?

Recently, I purchased the TDK brand. Usually, I use Verbatim or sometimes Maxell or Sony brands DVD+R discs. However, saw the TDK on sale, but highly recommended by other users.
When I went to burn/write a project on a TDK it would not burn at 8X (11,080 KB/s), but rather at 2X (3,324 KB/s). I tried another TDK disc, and the same result. Thought there was a problem with my DVD burning unit. So, I tried a Verbatim and a Maxell. Both the Verbatim and Maxell were able to burn at 8X.
I sent an email to: infoimation.com describing the problem, and possibly a refund or replacement for a TDK 100 DVD+R pack that would not burn/write over the 2X range.
Perhaps it was the batch that I purchased. Don't know if other TDK users have had the same issue. Was this review helpful?

Great price, no surprises. I have used TDK CD's and DVD's for years without a glitch; not like Memorex, which refused to replace bad disks years ago and haven't used them since. Plus or dash seem to work equally well. Was this review helpful?

This was an excellent choice for a DVD RW. I am very pleased with the quality of picture and the flexability of use with so many current DVD burners on the market. First of all, I am impressed with the quality of this product. I had some reservations about ordering this DVD+R pack due to its very low price (thanks to Buy.com). The DVD burned in about 6 minutes, 4 minutes less than the time it takes me to burn other brand DVDs. I am thoroughly pleased with that. The burn was smooth, no problems. The quality was second to none.
Lastly, I must praise Buy.com for shipping it so quickly. I ordered this item on Sunday and I had it at home on Tuesday even though I chose the "Free shipping" option which was advertised for "7-10 days business days". I have to give credit to Buy.com for such an outstanding service and delivery.
