This is an excellent product to position your laptop to the correct height for using on your desk. Rather than always bending my neck down to see the screen, I look straight in front of me. I use this stand with my 15" Powerbook G4. The USB ports work fine. Was this review helpful?

The least expensive way I have found to convert a laptop into a convenient desktop with full size keyboard and mouse PLUS additional USB ports. Is adjusts to put the screen at exactly the right height and angle. The only complaint I have is that it takes up quite a bit of room when stored. Except for that little draw back, it is a useful and inexpensive tool that works! Was this review helpful?

I have 2 computers, one is my 17" Compaq Pavilion which is large and heavy and the other is my desktop. The laptop was always a pain to move to another location b/c I use both frequently. So having it attached to peripherals was hard. Having this inexpensive but effective tool has been great for 3 reasons.
(1) I have been able to raise the monitor to eye level.
(2) I use a wireless keyword without worrying about detaching it later helping me ergonimically (it's touch to use the laptop's keyboard).
(3) It gave me desktop space by raising it.
and finally..
(4) I didn't need a $250 docking station. This fit my needs easily. Was this review helpful?

I have been very satisfied with this product. It is very easy to insert and remove my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. Adjustment of the desktop stand height is also very easy. The 4 hub USB powered connector allows me to connect all my peripherals with just one USB plug. I sometimes forget I am using a laptop instead of a desktop. One note - you must have an additional keyboard and mouse when using this product, as the laptop's keyboard and touch screen are covered. I have found that using a wireless keyboard and mouse are easiest to use, and seemless. Overall, I am very satisfied and very happy I found this item (at a good price!) at Buy.com.
