As a wireless network engineer, I thought this device would be an excellent time saver. What would be better than the ability to find dead spots and max range at the push of a button?
However, I quickly discovered this device was a joke when It gave me three lights of signal strength in a room with enough wifi power to cook a steak. It seems to have a max range of 15 feet on most "out of the box" AP's, and that's assuming there's no walls in the way.
I see myself returning it tommorow, though I cringe at the idea of wasting any more time with this useless device. Was this review helpful?
