    Buy.com and Altec Lansing, that's who! Who ever gave Buy.com bad reviews (another site) was dead wrong. And this item A.L. iPod speaker is AMAZING! Solid, great accessories, slick...and incredible sound! First set it up in the work cube farm and it could be heard across the room (cavernous refurbed warehouse). This is one of the older model speaker sets, and it works with my just released 40GB iPod Photo beautifully. I'm weeping with joy!

    This is a slick product, but buyers should understand the limitations, especially in terms of the sound. I bought the system based on some glowing reviews by buyers here at Buy.com as well as other sites, and didn't demo the unit first before ordering it. I have to say that while the sound quality is good, it is nothing like the Bose SoundDock which I recently tried out at a kiosk in an airport. Clarity of the InMotion is quite good, but richness and depth of the sound could be better. Given the relatively low price, great design, small size, and the ability to run on battery power, I'm still satisfied overall with the purchase even though the sound quality didn't quite meet my expectations based on others' reviews.

    These speakers serve their purpose well. Very compact, very easy to use. Even a nice little carrying bag. Took a chance that it would work with my ipod photo and it does. Not as good a sound as you get through good headphones and certainly not the sound you get with bigger speakers - not a lot of bass and the sound gets a little distorted if you turn it up high. Having said that, the sound is perfectly fine considering the size and probable uses. I can get the volume to a point where I want it and hear it across the room and I still enjoy listening to music through these.

    These speakers have a crisp, clear sound. I not only use it with my ipod, but I use it with my palm Tungsten and my cd player as well. It's a great value because this is selling for much more elsewhere.

    After using these speakers, I can't imagine using any other brand of portable speakers. They are the perfect size, they are good looking, the sound is nearly perfect(It would be better if the speakers could have a higher maximum volume). But the sound quality is excellent and the bass is strong. They are the perfect addition to any ipod accessory collection.
