    Based on a couple weeks of light use, I am very pleased with this printer. I've had a number of $100 inkjets over the years and they all start out good and then fade. I have high hopes for this pricier model. The best feature of all is the wireless networking. I have a house without ethernet and with multiple computers. I can put the printer in the most convenient spot and print from a laptop anywhere around the house. The wireless set-up is a breeze, thanks to Secure Easy Setup. By pushing a button on the printer and a button on my wireless router (that I didn't even know was there), the WPA password is supplied to the printer and it's on the net! Output looks great, but so does output from most new printers. We'll see if it continues over time.... The 2nd media tray is nice but not a must-have for me. I really like the built-in duplexer that provides automatic two-sided printing. Duplexing slows things down quite a bit, but most of my printing at home isn't time-critical. Speed is otherwise excellent in draft mode, which is more than sufficient unless picture quality is important. Lastly, I like what HP has done with the printer driver interface. There is a single tab that has pull-downs for all of the important settings. That interface, plus wireless networking that is easy to set-up, result in a 5 for easy of use score.

    Printer speed and features are very impressive for the price. Getting the duplexer and high capacity paper tray as a part of the package was a bonus (total cost was less than the local store price for just the printer). The HP software (Photo related) can be tricky to load (XP). The color cartridge was bad right out of the box but replaced by HP within 2 days.
