Seeing the 33X in the title I felt this would be speedier than a 'standard' sd card but its performance (using several benchmarks) was the same as a 4-year old 128MB SD card. So great price but not great for speed sensititve type of data. Was this review helpful?

I tested the speed. Write and read at almost similar speed, slightly less than 1m/s when transferring data from and to PC. No data corruption found. Not test in digital cameras etc. I can see "Made in Japan" on the card. Considering the price, it's great! Was this review helpful?

This is a pretty good card. I bought it for use in my Canon SD300 camera, and it has worked really well except for when I take high resolution video- the card can't keep up with the data transfer. Other than that, I'm happy with it. Was this review helpful?

I recently purchased my first digital camera and I had been planning for some time to purchase a memory card to take an vast amount of photos. All the camera lingo was a little intimidating at first, but now that I have the memory disk in the palm of my hands (literally), I have no idea what I was afraid of. For the price (keep in mind, there's a rebate, too), this product can't be beat. It is so easy to use. You just pop it right into your camera and pop it right out. User's error is simply not possible. I would recommend this disk to anyone who wants to be equipped for the digital age. I just wish I had bought one earlier. Ooooh, one more bonus, not only can you save your pictues to this disk, but you can save all sorts of files from .doc's to back ups to mp3s. So, yes, I strongly recommend this product. Enjoy. Bought for my GPS. Works great. One thing I would say that this is the only SD card I have seen so far which is Made in Japan. All other SD cards are made in China or Taiwan. Acctually it is manufactured by Toshiba. Thats what it says on the card. Was this review helpful?
