5 of 5 It is incredible quality and prices Saturday, February 27, 2010 sixwina from Bellevue NE
Try it for couple days. Love it. I love the combination of ear and mic. Sound is excellent, the record from the mic is not so bad. Looks and Feels the same with the real IPod one.
Can't be better. Recommend to everyone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Perfect low-end replacements Friday, February 05, 2010 Anthony from El Paso, TX
Don't expect these to be exactly like the one's that shipped with your iPhone, iPod, or iTouch - these are different but just as good. You won't be dissappointed. Was this review helpful?

however they are missing the volume control!! You can only start & stop a phone call or audio file, but you have to reach for your Iphone to change the volume, this set does not have volume controller

i was skeptical about ordering these headphones for the price, but in the end, at $3.50 a pair, i figured what could i lose by trying them? i was pleasently surprised when i received them in the mail. upon first look, they look exactly like the ones you get from apple for $35. but upon closer inspection you couldn't see as much as you could feel minor differences, they seem to be made of a slightly different plastic and the mic seems to click harder than the apple pair. as for the sound, i think they sound even better than the ones from apple. they seem louder and have more bass than the apple version. as far as how they hold up, i've had them about a month and they still work great. the ones i get from apple generally crap out around the 6-8 month mark so these are excellent replacements for the price. i ordered 4 more pairs recently. if you're looking for a replacement to your apple headphones, you can't go wrong with these. 5 of 5 Great Headphones. Wednesday, December 09, 2009 tiejerbob from Rexburg, Idaho
I have purchased many of these headphones for my kids and these are great. For the price, you can't beat them. I will buy more when I need them. Was this review helpful?

When i got these, i was happy on how they were nicely shipped although they took two weeks to get here. when i saw them still in the package I was surprised to see how similar they looked to the original iphone headphones. when i unpacked it thats when i saw the obvious differences. first pro was that i did like the feel of the cable, its was smoother and thats what i was hoping for. the ear buds do look very much like the original except for the grey bottom tubes where the cables go in, they are not to par like the original. the top half of the cables( the part where they come together to the earbuds) are a bit flimsy, when folded or bent they are more likely to fold sharply like a V rather than like a U like the original iphone headset. now i pbought these for my 3gs so the headset that came with it had a different mic, they has volume control and this one doesnt. if you are familiar with the 3gs headset you will remember its a two piece mic that clicks when either of the 3 buttons are pressed. that clicks is pretty loud and reasures you that you did press it all the way and with enough pressure. but with these the mic is all one piece, even though from a distance it looks like two. when the button is pressed it doesnt make the click sound but you can FEEL the click. the bottom mid-quadrant is where it is best to press for the end\answer function. pressing the ends will not work and neither would pressing on the mic.
the sound could better, its clear but theres is some loss of bass but treble seems ok.
the jack also looks different, its a bit rounded off.
overall they are ok, i got these for work since i do not want to use my original 3gs headphones for that, since i am a custodian, my headphone would go through a lot of accidental tuggings and whatnot. so these are a good replacement. they look highly original to the untrained eye, not premium sound like they anounced, but its ok for me since i listen to more podcasts than to music so for that these headsets are perfect.
