4 of 5 Tiny Screen, Good Overall Value Wednesday, August 26, 2009 Bavarian Betsy from Pennsylvania
The menus are a bit cryptic so I downloaded the manual from the website - still a bit cryptic.
FM radio is clear, MP3s sound great. Drive shows up perfect on Linux, Vista, XP and putting tunes on it is quick and painless.
It's a solid overall value - especially when you start comparing the amount of memory versus price to some of the other brands. Was this review helpful?

For a "Basic MP3 Player" this is the best I have used. It has your standard low-end interface, nothing special there, but they included several niceties you do not expect to find in a player of this price-point. The cap that protects the USB interface is magnetic, so it will not fall off accidentally. There is a small metal clip on the back, like you would find on a pen, so it's easy to attach to my gym shorts (Although too narrow to clip to a leather belt) additionally, it's got a rechargeable LiIon battery. I have not had it long enough to verify the battery life, but it easily lasted a two hour continuous runtime. Best of all, it supports standard "Drag & Drop", so I do not have to reorganize my entire collection at the whim of Windows Media Player of iTunes.
Overall Centon did a first-rate job in putting together a quality basic MP3 player. Was this review helpful?
