The drive is good and works well. It has been over 3 months and I have yet to hear anything about the rebate. (I wrote an earlier review, but it has dissapeared)

I only use this to backup all my movies. Plan on purchasing another for standard digital storage. I dig the bright blue led. I use it as a night light whenever I get up in the middle of the night. It's the brightest, bluest light I have every seen. Pre-formatted in NTFS.
