5 of 5 Excellent camera Monday, December 22, 2008
Greg from Visalia, CA

I am very pleasantly surprised with this camera. I'll admit my level of photographic experience is that of a layman, but I know what I like. The video is very sharp in nearly all light conditions. The movement flows smoothly unlike other digital camcorders I've used. The still photos are outstanding. I have never had a digital camera take such good pictures inside as this one. I took some pictures from across the room with the flash (approx. 15 to 20 ft.) and got very good illumination. Everyone I show this to is very impressed with the quality pictures and when I tell them the price I paid for it they are stunned. I highly recommend this camera.

5 of 5 Love it! Wednesday, December 17, 2008
A Customer from Sunnyvale, California
Used it at a concert in dim lighting, it adjusted well with the default settings. Also, took a few pics which was convenient and turned out well. Battery life was reasonable, I had it on for about ~2 hours continuous (for the 6 hr concert). Small form factor is perfect, making it very portable and put away without adding any bulk.

5 of 5 Great Little Camera Wednesday, December 17, 2008
Steve R. from Houston, TX
I love this camera. I had the older version (CG4?) and really liked it, but one too many drops... This newer camera is a bit thicker, but I really like the larger screen and the new controls layout. I also like the stability control for still shots. It surprised me when I took a low light shot without a flash and it gave me a nice crisp picture (with me holding the camera and not on a tripod). They seem to have perfected the feature for taking stills while you are shooting video. The old version used to freeze the video for 5-10 seconds, but this new camera snaps the picture without affecting the video. The 5x zoom is really nice and have been amazed at some of the shots I've gotten. I also like the onboard editing features. I didn't think I would use them, but I find myself fixing redeye on stills and combining video clips quite often. I do wish they had kept the plug in recharge rather than having to remove the battery, but maybe that will change if I get a second battery. The great thing about this camera is its size and the quick power on. I find myself whipping this camera out and taking video more often (and I don't have to drag a separate still camera).
