I bought this camera as an upgrade to my Samsung L200 camera, which accidentally got dropped on a stone surface. Although the LCD screen was damaged, the camera continued to function properly and I took nearly 500 photos with an "aim & shoot" technique with the camera set on "Auto". All the pictures came out beautifully. I was still able to hook up to my TV screen to preview the pictures and make any change in settings, if desired. I figured if Samsung could make that good of a product, I would buy again. The SL310 incorporates even more features than the L200 for only a few dollars more. I now intend to use the L200 as a backup camera and since both cameras use the same battery and SDHC card, I can always have an extra battery and SDHC card available. I investigated replacing the LCD screen, but the cost was over half the cost of the original L200 camera, so I decided to hold off in getting the LCD screen replaced. The free shipping from buy.com was fast and efficient and I received notice of shipping the day after I ordered for both cameras. I will continue to do business with buy.com. Was this review helpful?
