This software is just great. It's easy to use and has a lot of very nice features. The people working in Customer Service at Serif seem nice and it's tech support is FREE! I own four Serif products now. I had rebates on all of them and I received all of my rebates quickly.

With the rebate how can you beat free. This program very simply does many of the things other programs do with great difficulty. Never had a program so easy to use. The tutorials are wonderful and always there to help us older folks with bad memories.

the program itself is just what I expected. Easy to use, not much trouble to figure it out. Most of times, it give me good quality of picture editing. It may be not a professional software for professional works, but good enough for my daily picture fix ups. The most important thing though, is that it's free after rebate.

I have bought PhotoPlus recently and I am using it now. Though I am not completly went through all the functions, I have used the basic ones. Its easy and good options to correct n edit the pictures. There is good UNDO mechanism to get the original photo back.

I installed the software and it slowed my computer and grabbed all photos as well as new ones in email. I may like it more when it is not the default program for photos and I can save and process in my usual way, then import into program for use there. I honestly need to spend more time and hopefully I'll be happier with this program.

For the price, it is a very workable Photo editor. Need some time to understand the commands, but there is a very good help program included in the editor. I was able to fix red eye after playing for 5 min. So it is a good deal.

OK... This was one of those "free after rebates" deals for me, so that does skew the results a bit.. For that price, this is an excellent photo editor. I've used earlier versions of this and some other Serif titles, and by and large they provide good value for the money. Is this competition for photoshop? Of course not, but it compares pretty well to PS elements, Photo Impact, etc... All of these 50-100 dollar programs are capable of doing some very good adjustments, so it becomes a matter of finding one that "feels good" to you.

buy.com does it again by offering this great product at a screaming price. I've used several photo editing products, but this one is bumps up the bar a few levels. easier to use than products that cost hundreds or thousands more. with buy.com's great deal it was a risk free trial!

Shortly after installation started I received the Installer Information error message "The Cabinet File 'php.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package." Customer service was really nice and sent me a replacement disk, but I received the same error with the new disk also... I guess I struck out... This has never happened to me before.

I find "PHOTO PLUS X2" to be an average product for its type (advertised as "digital studio"). Just a heads up about the rebate. I cut out the UPC from the box and taped it to the rebate, filled out the rebate, mailed it in and lo-and-behold, the rebate processing company sends me an e-mail stating "INVALID UPC"! What kind of deal is that? It's supposed to be a "BUY.COM" rebate only, but don't hold your breath about getting it. Invest in some other company's quality product that is worth the investment and honors its rebates!!!
