5 of 5 Perfect Remote Wednesday, July 22, 2009 Ryan from Auburn, NY
I needed a simple, inexpensive remote for when I connected my new Vista laptop to my TV, and this works perfectly. I connected the receiver, drivers were installed instantly with no problems (I run Vista Home Premium 64 bit), and remote worked right away. All buttons map and function properly in both Media Center and plain Media Player, and the green Windows button launches Media Center. I really like the mouse buttons on it, and it's very useful for when you want to open something that doesn't accept arrow keys. Range of the receiver is very good, about average for infrared. Note: When the receiver gets an input, a red light flashes. No problem for me, but if you don't want any lights, you may need to put a piece of tape over it or not buy at all. Overall, a great buy, and exactly what I needed. Was this review helpful?
