I bought a refurbished one and so got it for around 32 bucks. This phone came in a white package, marked refurbished. The build quality seems to be good and the phone did not have any scratches.
The only problem with this is that, the buttons and menu options are kinda confusing for a first time user, but I think with time it's gonna be OK. Also, you need to use the version of Skype that comes with the CD to make it work :(
As far as coverage range is concerned, what I get is pretty decent, covers the whole of my appartment and a bit of the parking lot.

Innitially I got a defective piece but once replaced I found it a wonderful product. I disconnected my land line and I purchased Skype In and Skype out wchi all togather comes to $6 per month.....which is 90% less than what I was paying to my telephone company. The overall perfomance is pretty much the same as the other not Reconditioned one I bought from buy.com. However, there are some visible scatches and it came in very poor packaging. Some package materials were missing. I got a generic white box with some yellowish oily disgusting stuff on the box(covering in very large area) and all the parts were placed all over without any protection. Pay 10 bucks more to get a new one. Was this review helpful?

I walked all the way from my apartment which is on one end of the building to the laundry room at the other and had no problems with reception. My girlfriend heard me very well and I had no problems hearing her. I'll be using this for a long time using Skype. Was this review helpful?
