This card holds a large space, runs at good speed and comes at decent price. I had planned to use it with my MIO GPS unit, but I learned that my Canon Digicam already holds 1GB SD. So I swapped them and now my GPS has 1GB and canon has 8GB. In canon, this card can give me an estimated space for 500+ pictures at a resolution of 10MP.

I use mine for data storage and a Nikon Coolpix L3. Both the camera and the Targus USB card adapter had no problem dealing with the size or SDHC format.

When I bought this card, I had read all the available info. I needed a backup for my music and pictures that offered easy retrieval. I knew it would work in my new notebook and not in my Kodak 33 or HP printer, so I was very pleased with the performance. If you expect it to work in most SD slots, you will be disappointed. What much can one say about a memory card? It works. Out of curiosity, I compared it speed-wise to another Kingston card I have that is Class 6, and at least in my camera (Canon SD850IS) if there is any difference, it is negligable. Works great out of the wrapper. Make sure you have SDHC reader. Old/regular readers only address up to 2GB max. I have no problem with all Kingston memory products. I ordered the Kingston 8 Gigabyte High Capacity Storage Card. It arrived at my home very promptly. The price was way below what I would expect a card of this memory capacity to cost. I put it in my Canon S5-IS and took a few test shots. Its very fast and holds more pictures than I could possibly hope to take. My camera is very memory hungry, when it takes video at high resolution/frame rate. Now I don't have to constrain my picture quality because of storage limitations.
