I cannot say much about this product other than it works as advertised. The performance is what should be expected from a name brand, but not any slower. I do have to say the customer service I got from Buy.com is what will keep me coming back. They shipped this to me in February and I had not received it by April even though the tracking number specified that it should have arrived in late February. I contacted Buy.com and they immediately sent me another one which I received within a week. It saved me from the usual customer service headache.

I like SanDisk products because of their good design and good quality. I like them better when they are on sale. This time, however, I was most impressed by the courtesy that Buy.com extended to me when my first shipment was lost in the mail. I've been a long time customer, and have been very happy with the products and services that Buy.com provides. This time I also got to experience first-handedly how well Buy.com treats its customers when the unexpected happen. The Post Office records showed that my order was delivered to my door, but I never got it. When I emailed Buy.com to explain the situation, I received a prompt and courteous reply saying that a replacement order would be placed at no cost to me, without any further question or burden to me. My replacement order arrived soon afterward, and I am very happy and impressed by Buy.com's professional and hassle-free treatment of its customers. This experience makes me even more comfortable with buying from Buy.com.

Hard like a stone, can with stand any amount of abuse! It has gone two times in washing machine and dryer, still it is in working condition!

$15 for 4 GB of memory is a great deal. While the read speeds are pretty good, the write speeds are a little on the pokey side. The retractability of the USB connection is a nice plus.

I like the unit in general but did not like the way the USB plug slides out of the end of the unit much like the way a pen does. This leaves the USB plug exposed and able to collect debris inside, even when withdrawn inside the case.

Tried U3 for a few days, which isn't recognized on some PCs, so uninstaled it. Put on PortableApps instead, and portable programs fire up pretty quickly from it. My crucial 4GB tested faster than this under FlashMemoryToolkit, but felt slower than cruzer in real life use for lauching portable programs.

I bought it when it was on sale, so it was only about $12, which was a much better deal than the $20 it is selling for at the moment. Overall, it works great! I don't really like the software that comes included with it, but for storage, it works just fine. It's also compatible with Windows Vista/7 ReadyBoost, so you can use it for extra virtual RAM if you're not using it for storing data if you use one of those operating systems. It's not exactly 4 GB of storage, it's a little less than that, which was a little disappointing, but overall, it does what I needed it to.

I installed a new hard drive on my IBM Thinkpad and needed a way to transfer my data from the old drive. I found this was an efficient and low cost way to get the 25 GB files transfered in one evening with little effort and I didn't have to be a geek. Sandisk has done it again when they offered this 4 GB memory at such a low price. I have been satisfied on previous memory cards and will have to say that Sandisk has filled a good market niche with good value and performance at very low prices.

Memory stick works great. Recommend you don't install included software. I have found that on some XP systems the memory stick will not be recognized.

The price was really right and I like the U3 software that came with the unit. Good encryption and the file sync software are worth more than the price of the unit. Delivery was very prompt, too.

I've always enjoyed using Sandisk products this size and never had a problem with installation or their performances. This one was just the same! The best part I liked about it was the capacity for the price I paid and the KEY-RING! Now I'm good! Now I'm good....

I've had nothing but problems with this drive since I bought it. It locks up one of my computers (which makes it useless to me, since this is the computer I wanted to transfer files to), and has been problematic on other ones. I suspect the software on this model is to blame. Avoid this one and get a simple one that just pops up as a drive.

U3 is a great idea, but beware that it doesn't work so well with corporate computers that are locked down. I read the information and thought this would allow me to run apps without having the Administrator privileges to install them on my local drive. No such luck. My profile was also completely screwed up by insertion of this unit. So it doesn't work in all situations, but the idea is nifty. The plastic slider is cheesy -- note that you have to extend it alll the way out for it to lock properly. Would have preferred metal, but the price wasn't much. Cool idea, but limits on U3 software (Google the website first) and compatibility is far from guaranteed

The $9.99 sale price and free shipping enticed me to order. Product arrived within 48 hours. I haven't explored the U3 technology yet but it's easy to use for carrying my work/home files with me as needed. I often have large photo files and it is perfect for transporting them. I've never had a problem with any Sandisk product.

I have owned several Sandisk USB drives and bought these knowing they would perform flawlessly. The feature that I appreciate above their performance is the retracting USB connection. I think this makes them extremely durable and eliminates the annoying protective cap that most others use which eventually is lost. The price was of course excellent especially for the brand.

You have to go to SandDisk's website and find the uninstaller tool because their annoying software is buried on a hidden partition that I couldn't delete.

I couldn't believe how fast this item got delivered for the free budget shipping. I have other Sandisk memory devices as well and am well pleased with them. I'm not sure of the "operational" capabilities as they are limited to things I don't need. Oh well it works great for storage.

4 gigs at the price I bought it for was a steal. It's a great flash drive with no hardware problems. I will admit that it seems a bit soft...if you accidentally sit on it, I don't think it will survive. There is also this stupid program that is included that I think can be easily deleted, but I decided to keep it on just in case I might want to use it sometime.

This is great product.. I like it for its built, size and performance. The flashing light looks good when it is connected. The USB port sometimes does not look that sturdy but I think it is fine given the size of this drive. It needs to be handled softly. Overall a great product, a must have at good 4GB storage. I paid under $10 for it.. value buy. Cheers..!
